Heritage Hunter 1.2 brings the journey closer to home with a brand-new Taiwan exploration experience. This update adds a wide range of Taiwan sites, including potential World Heritage locations, the island’s extreme points, national parks, offshore islands, and playful local landmarks. Alongside your global heritage journey, you can now start a more personal adventure across Taiwan. We’ve also introduced a new set of Taiwan-exclusive achievements and titles, including hidden achievements and regional collection challenges, so every in-person visit feels more rewarding. The map, collections, and achievements experience has been expanded to better support both World Heritage sites and Taiwan sites, making it easier to explore, track progress, and unlock new goals. We also added a new photo contribution entry in Settings, so you can help enrich site detail pages with your own photography.
