Version 1.3.2 — Stability Update This release focuses on iPad reliability. We squashed a batch of crashes and visual glitches reported by users: • Undo no longer blanks the canvas. Tapping the back/undo button while working with multiple layers used to occasionally wipe the canvas to white. Fixed. • Zoom is rock-solid. Pinch-zooming and the +/− zoom buttons no longer crash the app, even during rapid gestures or right after launch. • Finger panning works again. Moving strokes with the Hand tool no longer crashes when panning with your finger on iPad. • Importing photos as layers is reliable. Large photos from the camera roll no longer crash the app, and failed imports now show a clear message instead of failing silently. Photos are also now downsampled for faster, smoother editing. • Text extrusion improvements. Extruding text that includes Chinese, Japanese, Korean, emoji, or other scripts no longer crashes. Version 1.3.1 — Tracing-quality photo zoom, sturdier undo, fill tool paused Fixed: • Imported photos scale and pan together with the strokes you draw on top of them. Pinch-zooming used to leave the photo pinned to the screen while only the drawing layer zoomed, which made tracing impossible. The photo is now locked to the canvas at the moment of import and tracks pinch-zoom and pan one-to-one with your work. • Undo no longer brings strokes back the next time you draw. Pressing back used to remove the last stroke correctly, but the next new stroke would re-emit every previously-undone stroke as a side effect. The stroke cache is now fully reset on every undo so each new stroke commits cleanly on top of the post-undo state. Changed: • Bucket Fill is temporarily disabled. The tool was producing an all-white canvas and freezing the app on iPad. Tapping the Fill button now shows a "Fill is temporarily disabled" message; the implementation is preserved and will return as soon as the iPad regression is reproduced and squashed. Version 1.3 — Bigger eraser, full-canvas exports, steadier undo Five fixes from your feedback. Fixed: • Exports no longer crop to the original viewport. Drawings made while zoomed out — especially with the radial-symmetry tool — now save and share at their full extent instead of getting chopped at the screen's initial bounds. • Send as Image now includes the entire drawing. Same root cause as the export crop; it flowed through the share sheet, save to Photos, copy to clipboard, and every PNG/JPEG/PDF format. • Undo no longer behaves erratically. Pressing back used to re-mirror restored strokes under symmetry and could appear to wipe the whole canvas. Each undo now reverts exactly one step. • The eraser size slider actually resizes the eraser, and its upper bound is now 200 pt — wiping a fill or large region is no longer a chore at the old 80 pt cap. • White and other pale swatches in the colour palette now show a faint hairline outline when not selected, so you can tell where they are against the panel background. Split & Mate. Cut a tall design into 2–5 stackable parts that press-fit back together. Choose Pin, Tab, or Dovetail connectors and a Loose / Press / Glue tolerance preset; the app auto-places the connectors and exports each part as its own STL. Threaded and Vertical-cut are coming next update. • STL repair pass on every export. Drops zero-area triangles, welds vertices that landed on the same point but missed by a float, removes duplicate triangles. Each export now shows a print-readiness score so you know the file is clean before you walk to the printer. • Shared Loose / Press / Glue tolerance preset across all the matching-parts forms (gears, Box & Lid, peg & socket, hex bolt & nut, dovetail sled) AND the new Split & Mate connectors. Three new matching parts for anyone designing mechanisms. New: • Rack & Pinion — straight toothed rack plus a meshing involute pinion. Set the module, pinion tooth count and rack length; pitch line and pitch circle line up at your chosen clearance. • Internal Gear — annular ring with inward teeth and an external pinion that runs inside it. Same-direction drive for compact gearboxes and lazy susans. • Planetary Gears — sun, planets and ring laid out together. Ring tooth count is auto-locked to sun + 2 × planet so the geometry meshes correctly. Pick 2–6 planets. Fixed: • Inserted matching parts now land at the visible centre of the canvas instead of an off-screen content coordinate. On iPhone, Box & Lid and the new gears used to drop bits past the screen edge with no way to scroll them back into view. • Asymmetric assemblies (a big ring with a small pinion) recentre on the placement point after fitting, instead of leaving the larger part hanging off one side. What's New in Version 1.1.0 Fixed: • Box & Lid now fits the iPhone canvas instead of spilling off-screen — the zoom buttons stay responsive while placing a part, and the outline clears cleanly from the 2D canvas. • Box and lid extrude to their own heights again. The slider now scales every part proportionally, so a 20 mm box with a 6 mm lid keeps that ratio as you dial the height up or down. • First-run welcome walkthrough no longer has floating tool panels poking through on top — the welcome sheet is clean and uninterrupted.
