• Tag articles while you listen — New buttons on the Live Activity let you mark an article without unlocking: save it for later, or rate the voice quality. Tagged articles are filterable in the web article list. • Controls in the Apple Watch Smart Stack — Playback and the tag buttons now show up in the Watch's Smart Stack, so you can act on what you're hearing straight from your wrist. • Short versions play as one block — Feeds switched to one-sentence summaries now run back-to-back as a single briefing block, introduced by a spoken intro, with no music cutting in between two articles of the same block. The intro is skipped when you've already heard it. • Smart deduplication — The same story from five outlets isn't read to you five times. Articles are now compared by meaning, and only what's actually new gets spoken. • Better language detection — Articles with short or ambiguous titles land in the right language more consistently, so fewer pieces get summarized in the wrong one. • Companion display support (XTEINK) — If you own an XTEINK reader running the companion firmware, the app can show the current article's summary on its e-ink screen and take Play/Pause, Previous, Next and save-for-later from its buttons. Off by default; enable it in Settings. • Playback fixes — Stop now resets to the start of the article instead of resuming hours later mid-sentence; resuming after Stop plays the news article again instead of jumping to music; skipping back no longer replays a duplicate after a network reconnect; and the last track no longer loops forever at the end of the queue. • Articles survive network trouble — A brief connection drop could silently discard several unheard articles. Fetches now retry indefinitely and cut to music while waiting instead of dropping anything. • Crash fixes — Fixed crashes on cold launch, when using the remote play/pause/skip controls from another device, and when a companion device was connected. Tapping a tag button on the Live Activity no longer breaks background audio for the rest of the session. • Faster startup — The article list no longer waits on Apple Music authorization before appearing. • Refreshed system sounds — The startup, connection and block-finished chimes were re-recorded from real orchestral instruments and loudness-matched. The audible click at the start of each one is gone. • Voice recordings capped at 30 seconds — Recording your own voice sample now stops automatically at 30 seconds. Longer references made voice cloning less reliable, not better; 8 to 20 seconds is still the sweet spot. • Smaller fixes and improvements — Feed icons load again in the app, the Live Activity no longer lingers after the app is suspended or vanishes after a lock-screen pause, and cross-device handoff resumes at the saved position instead of 0:00.

• Adjustable news volume — A new slider in Settings lets you set how loud news plays relative to background music. Also available as a Siri shortcut: "Set news volume to 50 percent." • Crash fixes during music playback — Two independent crashes that could occur when switching between foreground and background while music was playing have been fixed. Playback is now significantly more stable. • Menu no longer flickers during playback — The options menu visibly pulsed with every position update while audio was playing. Fixed. • Shorter Siri responses — Starting playback now gets a brief "OK" instead of a longer confirmation phrase.

• You can now re-submit any article you've already listened to, and it returns to the top of your queue. • After onboarding, a new Discover tab lets you browse the feeds most popular among SpokenFeeds users — by category, with endless scroll. • A new settings screen (also shown during onboarding) lets you pick the time of day your briefing is prepared and set a maximum number of articles per session. • There's now a dedicated Shortcuts screen in the app that shows all available SpokenFeeds Siri actions — so you don't have to discover them by chance. • Pressing ⏮ on the lock screen or in Control Center during music mode sometimes jumped to the wrong track. Fixed. • A subtle tone plays when your queue has loaded on startup, and again when your network connection comes back after going offline. • The AI now less often repeats the headline at the start of a summary, and more consistently matches the summary language to the original article language. (AI being AI, no promises — but it's noticeably better.) • The app now sends crash and hang reports via Apple's MetricKit framework to help catch issues faster. • Missing voice warning with a direct link to record, Siri shortcut cold-start fix, and various stability and security improvements.
