YOUR PEOPLE, YOUR SCENE
Wazaa is built for music lovers, festival-goers, and anyone who believes the best moments happen live. Find your scene.
more Events can now be tagged with the genre they actually are — hard groove, hypnotic techno, afro tech and more — and hundreds of older events have had theirs filled in, so filtering by sound finally finds them. Festivals that showed no genres now show them.
The venue on an event page is just the map and the address now, and the directions button opens real turn-by-turn directions instead of dropping a pin.
Events can also point at Skillbox, alongside BookMyShow, District and DICE.

You can now choose which photos go on an article and what order they appear in — every photo of every act on the bill, in one place, credited so you know whose face you are picking. Reels follow that order too.
An article about a single artist now stays about that artist: no more photos, frames or tags belonging to someone else on the lineup.
And new articles reach everyone with the app again, not only people who had set a city on their profile.
2.22.0 4d ago
Articles about artists now lean on performance history we have actually checked, so what you read about where an act has played is verified rather than assumed.
Each city keeps a single forum, even when its name is spelled more than one way — so a city's articles all land in the same place.
2.20.0 6d ago
Forums open on a spotlight again — the city and artist forums with something happening in them, each showing its latest article instead of a photo from years ago.
Following works. If you are not a manager it showed an empty list however many forums you followed. And a topic you post now counts as activity in that forum, whoever you are.
The app opens straight to the first screen instead of sitting blank behind the notifications prompt, and crashes on half-loaded screens are gone.
2.19.0 Sep 5
Venue locations are fixed. Directions used to send you to the wrong part of the city — the pins had been guessed rather than looked up, and most were off by a kilometre or more. Every venue with an event coming up has been corrected against Google Maps.
Venues now show when they close, and duplicate listings for the same place are merged. Delhi and New Delhi are one city again, as are Gurgaon and Gurugram, so you see everything happening in a city rather than a slice of it.
2.16.0 Sep 2
Event view counts work now. They had been stuck at zero for everyone except managers and event owners, so an event that was getting real traffic looked ignored.
Two things to try. Open an event from a shared link or refresh its page — that never counted before, and on the web it is how most people arrive. Then browse an event without signing in at all, because guests count too now; that was the whole point, and it is the part most worth confirming.
Saving a photo or a reel now files it under a Wazaa album on your phone instead of the old bloc one. Anything you saved earlier stays where it was.
2.14.0 Aug 21
Your profile's activity feed works again — your posts and forum topics were coming up empty and now appear as they should.
Artists are tidier. Duplicate artist entries have been merged, so a performer shows up once with all of their events together instead of split across near-identical pages.
Plus security and reliability improvements under the hood.
2.13.2 Aug 18
Housekeeping, mostly.
Our policy pages now say what we actually do - including a new pricing page setting out exactly what an organizer pays, with nothing buried.
Behind the scenes, a tidier toolkit for the people putting these nights on.
See you on the floor.
2.13.1 Aug 14
Your notifications finally lead with the name.
A new article now opens with who it's about - the artist first, then the headline with room to actually read it. And publishing two in a row shows you both; they used to replace each other before you'd seen the first.
Artist pages know their tours. Three nights of the same run now show Gurugram, Mumbai and Bengaluru instead of three identical cards, so you can tell at a glance which one is yours.
Plus a sharper toolkit behind the scenes for the people putting these nights on.
See you on the floor.
2.13.0 Aug 13
Your city, front and centre.
Community now leads with the cities actually buzzing, sorted by whatever dropped last - no more empty rooms in the way. Follow a forum and see only yours.
Twelve new scenes on the map: Kodaikanal, Kasol, Manali, Gokarna, Varkala, Rishikesh and more. The hills and the coast are on Wazaa now.
Plus your profile pic in the nav bar, a steadier feed, and faster everything.
See you on the floor.
2.11.0 Aug 4
Event pages now play the hype.
Open an event and the flyer shows whole, then the video slides in on its own after three seconds. Tap once and it's yours to browse. On Android, your login code is now read from the SMS and entered for you, so you're in without touching the keyboard.
Also fixed: the app no longer closes while waiting for that code.
See you on the floor.
2.10.2 Jul 29
Smoother artist and event pages.
Tapping an artist's SoundCloud now opens their tracks straight away, no more stuck player. The Connect links on event pages got a cleaner, tidier look, and dead Spotify links no longer show a broken player.
See you on the floor.
2.10.1 Jul 27
Search that finds events — and smoother everything.
Events now show up when you search, tapping a notification or an article takes you straight there, and scrolling feels cleaner across the app. We also fixed a few rough edges on artist pages and event tools.
Plus behind-the-scenes polish to keep things reliable.
See you on the floor.
2.9.2 Jul 21
Notifications, sorted.
Tap a notification and it takes you straight where it belongs — your photos, articles, guest lists, events and tickets. We tidied notifications into clear tabs (Social, Forums, Events) and squashed a bug that showed empty, blank alerts.
Plus a bunch of behind-the-scenes polish across the app.
See you on the floor.
2.9.1 Jul 18
Group chats are here.
Start a crew, name it, add your people, and plan the night together. Messages now land as one tidy, tap-to-expand notification per chat instead of a pile of buzzes.
Plus a cleaner Chats look, a separate group-notifications toggle, smoother typing, and more reliable push.
See you on the floor.
2.8.0 Jul 14
The countdown is on.
Article cards and pages now hype the next party with a live countdown, from "5 days to go" to "Tomorrow" to "Live now", and tap it to jump straight to the event.
We also polished the details: a consistent Wazaa look across the app, cleaner photo pages that link to the person, and managers can now swap an article's video.
See you on the floor.
2.7.1 Jul 11
Double-tap to show some love.
You can now double-tap any article or topic in your feed to like it instantly, with a little heart pop, the same move you already use on photos. Single-tap still opens it.
We also made reels and notifications more reliable and polished a few things behind the scenes.
Keep the feed lit. See you on the floor.
2.6.2 Jul 8
Smoother landing, cleaner app.
The home screen now loads without the blank flicker — sections glide in right as you reach them, so it feels instant from the first tap.
We also tidied things up behind the scenes for a faster, calmer start.
Small polish, big vibe. See you on the floor.
2.5.3 Jul 5
Your photos, your memories — sorted.
Event photo galleries are here: browse each party's shots in one place, and creators get a slick new Manage Photos hub. Double-tap any photo to drop a neon like.
We also squashed some bugs — profiles now load smoothly for everyone, and reporting works everywhere it should.
Smoother, cleaner, built for the floor. See you out there.
2.5.1 Jul 4
Smoother nights, fewer hiccups.
We squashed the crashes that could interrupt you mid-scroll — forum search, comments, and the photo feed are all rock-solid now. Plus sharper artist matching when you add a party, and a cleaner AI city search.
Same Wazaa. Less friction. See you on the floor.
2.3.2 Jun 27
User profiles reimagined — faster discovery, smarter music taste matching.
Festival Crew now finds your people across genres. Cleaner, snappier everywhere.
2.3.0 Jun 24

Articles now cover whole tours: one story, every date, every venue.

See you on the floor.

Your scene, your city.

Cleaner event cards, smoother party submission flow for organisers, and a stack of under-the-hood fixes keeping everything tight.
See you on the floor

Email edits in your profile now save reliably. For forum managers: cross-post published articles to Instagram as a branded carousel.
See you on the floor!
