THE PROBLEMS CHORBY SOLVES
• "I have to repeat myself all day." — Kids get their own playful task list with reminders at the right time of day. The app does the asking. Not you.
• "I did it!" "No you didn't!" — Require photo proof or parent approval on the tasks that matter. Approvals, skip requests, and reward redemptions land in one queue you clear in taps. The photo settles it.
• "Whose turn is it?!" — Assign tasks to one kid, several, everyone, an automatic rotation, or make it Open, up for grabs.
• "Rewards work for a week, then stop." — Progress kids can SEE: work toward daily goals across five illustrated adventure maps: Enchanted Forest, Ocean Depths, Mountain Peak, Desert Oasis, Cosmic Voyage.
• "Can I have 20 more minutes?" — Set your rate and screen time becomes something they buy with gems they earned. The answer stops being yes or no. It becomes how many gems.
• "Allowance is a negotiation." — Set payday and choose which tasks count toward weekly allowance. Control deductions for missed tasks. Use Money Plan and Bank to track balances, Cash task earnings, deposits, withdrawals, and history.
• "Every kid is different." — Choose Gems & Rewards, Cash, or achievements without currency per person, with individual rewards on shared tasks. Choose how many required tasks earn their daily streak and bonuses with a 50–100% Daily Goal. Goal changes start tomorrow.
HOW IT WORKS
• Answer a few questions. Chorby's Setup Wizard builds age-smart tasks, rewards, and schedules per child. Review the plan before applying it.
• Tasks can be one-time, daily, weekly, monthly, or custom repeats. Open tasks are up for grabs; Occasional tasks have no deadline. Both can earn rewards without counting toward required daily goals.
• Kids earn gems for real work and spend them in a reward shop YOU stock: screen time, treats, outings, cash-outs, you name it. Set prices and availability per person.
• Saving goals let kids pick a dream reward and watch it get closer every day.
• Customize streak bonuses and badge rewards to celebrate effort and consistency.
• Cash and allowance are family bookkeeping only. Chorby does not hold or transfer money or connect to bank accounts.
BUILT FOR REAL FAMILIES
• No child emails or passwords. Kids join with a Family ID or play on the main family device, where a Parent PIN protects parent controls. Co-parents can join too.
• Home-screen widgets show tasks, balances, a chosen reward, and weekly schedules. Complete or undo supported tasks.
• Complete tasks from Apple Watch, or use Parent Mode to manage approvals and check family progress.
• Chorby Hub turns a spare tablet into an always-on family task board. Every kid gets their own column to tap tasks off as they go.
• Works offline. Loaded task lists stay usable without internet. Changes sync when you're back online.
• The whole week at a glance: view past, current, and future schedules. See what's been done, skipped, or missed.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No in-app ads. No public profiles or feeds. Chorby is your household, not a social network.
• Task photos, rewards, and family activity are private to your family account.
• Parent Mode usage analytics and privacy-focused crash diagnostics help us improve Chorby.
• Request account and family-data deletion right in the app.
