Noor Quran is a complete Islamic app that gives you a daily spiritual experience combining Quran reading, recitation listening, live Quran radio, tafsir, reflection, word meanings, grammar, morphology, i‘rab, and Quranic readings, all in a comfortable and easy interface suitable for daily reading, Khatmah, memorization, and revision, with absolutely no ads.
The app offers several Mushaf display modes to suit different preferences, including the Madinah Mushaf, Shamarly Mushaf, and scrollable Mushaf styles such as classic, golden, and night modes, along with a Tajweed Mushaf that highlights recitation rules with simple explanations to help improve Quran reading. The Madinah and Shamarly Mushafs can also be downloaded for offline reading, with support for font size control, zooming, auto-scroll, and reading speed adjustment.
Noor Quran makes navigation easy with quick access to Surahs and Juz parts, Quran search with highlighted results, multiple bookmarks, and automatic resume from the last reading position, so your experience remains smooth every time you open the app.
The app supports flexible audio playback, allowing you to play a full Surah or start directly from a specific Ayah. You can repeat an Ayah or a selected range of Ayahs, adjust playback speed, choose from available reciters, and download recitations for offline listening. It also includes live Holy Quran Radio from Cairo, with media controls from the notification panel and lock screen.
Noor Quran provides advanced tools for understanding the Quran, including word meanings, i‘rab, grammar, morphology, Quranic readings, reasons of revelation, and similar Quranic verses, helping you understand the Quranic text more deeply. You can also copy and share Quran verses easily.
For those learning Tajweed or revising memorization, the app includes a simplified summary of Tuhfat Al-Atfal, as well as an interactive Tasmee feature to help with memorization review and progress tracking.
The app also includes a dedicated Quran Khatmah system, where you can create a suitable Khatmah plan, follow your daily portion, track progress percentage, view the full schedule, enable daily reminders, save completed Khatmahs, and access the Khatm Quran Dua.
Noor Quran is not limited to the Mushaf only. It also includes a section dedicated to Prophet Muhammad, featuring his noble lineage, blessed names, and Seerah, along with a section for different forms of sending peace and blessings upon him, with periodic reminders and a reminder when unlocking the phone.
