PHOTOS, PROPERLY Storage Map now asks for Photos access at the right moment — and tells you when it doesn't have it, instead of quietly reporting zero. • Your photos and videos appear in the device map as a real, browsable section you can drill into, sized from your whole library rather than a slice of it • Large Videos and Similar Photos now show an "Allow" badge when access is switched off, with one tap to fix it • Blurry-media detection is live: low-quality shots are flagged as you review them • The app's own Documents folder now appears in the Files app, so you can add files to it and map them IMPROVED • Sweeps stay responsive — the heavy analysis moved off the main thread • Photo library scanning no longer floods the system with parallel work, so the rest of the app stays smooth • Search is faster, and file lists render quicker with a large Collector FIXED • Fixed a crash when deleting a large file that wasn't part of the last sweep • Fixed a crash that could occur when the device reported unusual capacity figures • Deleting from the device map no longer drops the Explorer into an error state • Deleting a nested file now updates every folder total above it, not just its parent • Free space and System Data are summaries, not files — they no longer offer Delete or Quick Look actions that could never work • Photos chosen for deletion are handled by Photos rather than the file system, so they actually delete • Duplicate filtering no longer groups unrelated files together • iCloud Drive Evict and Delete now work; they previously failed on every file • Buttons that tried to deep-link into iCloud settings now open Settings correctly • Terms of Use are now linked from Settings alongside the Privacy Policy Everything still runs on your device.
