What’s New — Version 1.5.4 Fixed an issue where away fixtures could display your home club’s venue details and give incorrect directions. Venue information and navigation now use the location where the fixture is being played.

What’s new in version 1.5.3 We’ve improved the rink diary so hourly totals show how many rinks are in use at the same time, without double-counting sessions that follow one another. We’ve also updated our booking service to improve rink availability checks and help fixtures load more reliably. These service improvements benefit existing app versions too.

What’s New in Version 1.5.2 We’ve made the Bowls app easier and more comfortable to use, particularly on smaller phones and with larger text settings. Fixture creation and venue selection have been improved, along with a number of updates to member access, fixture management and communications. This release also includes several smaller improvements and fixes to make everyday use of the app smoother and more reliable.

Bowls Club Management brings the everyday activities of your bowls club together in one easy-to-use app. Members can see upcoming fixtures and club events, respond to invitations and availability requests, and keep track of the matches and activities they are involved in. Fixtures and availability View forthcoming fixtures with the information you need in one place. Where your club is requesting availability, you can respond directly in the app and easily see which fixtures still need your attention. Team selections Once teams are selected and published, players can see their selection, playing position, rink and other match information. Changes to published teams can also be communicated directly to the affected players. Accept or decline selections Players can respond to selections so captains and selectors have a clearer picture of who has accepted. Where enabled by your club, selection emails can also include simple Accept and Decline options. Club events and activities The app isn’t limited to competitive fixtures. Clubs can publish events and other activities, allowing members to see what is happening and respond where attendance is requested. Your personal dashboard The dashboard brings together the things that matter to you — including fixtures awaiting an RSVP, selections requiring acceptance and your upcoming accepted fixtures — helping you see at a glance whether anything needs your attention. Better club communication Fixture information, selections, reminders and other communications can be managed through the same system, reducing the need to piece together information from different messages and lists. Designed around the way bowls clubs already work Bowls Club Management is intended to support, rather than dictate, the way a club operates. Different fixture types and club activities can use the workflows appropriate to them, from a simple club event through to RSVP, team selection and rink allocation. Version 1.5.0 also includes improvements to member management, including the handling of inactive members, together with numerous usability, reliability and performance improvements throughout the app.

Version 1.3.4 continues the development of Total Leisure Bowls with improvements across fixture management, team selection and rink availability. This release introduces greater flexibility when creating and managing fixtures, improved support for different playing formats, enhanced rink and green management, and improvements to the member experience. It also includes usability improvements, performance enhancements and fixes identified during club testing as we prepare the app for wider use.
