Sweep turns photo cleanup into something you actually finish. Your photos and videos appear one full-screen card at a time, and you sort each one with a single swipe. No menus, no checkboxes, no overwhelm. Just you and the next picture.
A swipe says it all:
• Swipe up — move to Trash
• Swipe right — keep
• Swipe down — skip and decide later
• Swipe left — go back to the previous item
Prefer to tap? Every gesture has a button in the bottom bar, so you can sort however feels natural. Tap a photo to hide the controls, double-tap to zoom in, and tap a video to play or pause.
Nothing is deleted until you confirm.
This is the part that makes culling fearless. When you swipe a photo up, it only goes to an in-app Trash. Nothing touches your real photo library until you open that Trash and choose to empty it — and even then, emptying uses the standard iOS deletion confirmation, so deleted items land in Recently Deleted for 30 days where you can still get them back. An Undo button appears after every trash, and you can restore anything straight from the Trash. Change your mind as often as you like.
Private by design.
Sweep works entirely on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and no internet connection of any kind. No ads, no tracking, no analytics, no data collection. Your photos never leave your iPhone. Sweep is built on Apple Photos and fully respects Limited Library access, so you stay in control of exactly what it can see.
