SERIOUS ABOUT SAFETY
NDL is calculated with the Bühlmann ZHL-16C algorithm, the decompression model trusted across the industry. Safety alerts never auto-dismiss. Critical numbers stay big, high-contrast and glove-friendly, because a screen you can't read in low visibility isn't a safety feature.

COMPATIBILITY
Apple Watch Ultra — full dive companion
Scuba, freediving and snorkelling modes with live depth, dive time, water temperature, heart rate and NDL on your wrist. Every session logs itself. Depth currently tracked to 6 metres; full 40-metre capability is coming in a future update, pending Apple entitlement approval.
Apple Watch Series 10 and later — full dive companion, shallower
The same three modes, the same live metrics, the same automatic logging. Depth is capped at 6 metres by the shallow depth sensor in the hardware; plenty for snorkelling, breath-hold practice and shallow reef work.
Every other Apple Watch — Aqua Session
No depth sensor, no problem. Aqua Session gives you heart rate, compass bearing, GPS map and track, sea conditions, session duration and more. It won't measure depth or water temperature, but it will tell you where you are, which way the boat is, how hard you're working, and what the sea is doing. Log the rest by hand and you've still got the full picture.
No Apple Watch at all?
Everything else works on iPhone; logbook, E-learning, communities, sea lover finder, site reviews. The watch is a companion, not a gatekeeper.
IMPORTANT
This is not a dive computer and must not be used as your primary safety device. Current depth capability is 6 metres, limited by the Apple Watch Ultra shallow depth sensor. Full 40-metre scuba tracking is coming in a future update, pending Apple entitlement approval. Always dive within your training and with appropriate equipment.
