Mac

A gentle chime on the hour so you never lose track of time. When you're deep in work, hours disappear. You look up and it's 3pm and you haven't eaten. Chime is the digital equivalent of a clock tower — a soft, pleasant sound that marks the passing of time without demanding your attention. Pick an interval. Pick a sound. Forget about it. Chime aligns to the clock, not to when you opened the app, so it ticks with your day naturally. Free, forever: - The Bell sound, chiming on the hour - Independent volume control — audible even when your Mac is quiet - Automatic silence during macOS Focus mode - Smooth fade-in when Focus ends, so you're not startled - Live countdown in the menu bar showing minutes until next chime - No account. No internet. No permissions required. Unlock Chime Pro for $1.99 (one-off, no subscription) to add: - All six built-in sounds: Bell, Singing Bowl, Woodblock, Tip-Tap, Ding-Dong, and Bing - 15- and 30-minute intervals - Optional half-hour sub-chime at reduced volume - Quiet hours with overnight support (e.g. 10pm–8am) All sounds are bundled inside the app — no downloads, no streaming, tiny footprint.
