1.0.9 (1) — what’s in this build: New Offline mode — clearer offline state, explainer sheet, and safer session resume when the network drops. Region gate — app checks supported region (Nigeria) before full access. Payment proof confirmation — new step for ask authors to confirm a giver’s proof (with a strong “don’t confirm if names don’t match” warning). Improved Feed, My Activity, signup, and change-password flows updated. Reaction picker removed from feed posts (simpler reaction bar). Proof of help — fixed My Gives summary sheet: Tapping "View proof of help" now dismisses the sheet first, waits 300ms, then opens proof — no more silent no-op. Presenter fix: Proof zoom and beggar receipt sheets use BeggiTopViewController.frontmost() instead of rootViewController, so they show on top of nested SwiftUI sheets. Fresh proof URLs (giver paths) New GiverProofZoomOpener always calls GET /feed/{ask}/give-proof before opening the image — no stale 2h signed URLs from feed cache. Wired everywhere givers open proof: Feed story preview My Activity → Gives / Asks / Bookmarks Public profile gives My Gives story preview "View payment proof" chip now shows and works from the story preview sheet (was missing the handler). Beggar receipt (unchanged logic, more reliable) After Yes → image zoom only. After No → compact receipt sheet again; you can change your answer. Receipt presenter also uses frontmost VC.

What's New in 1.0.5 A lot has happened since 1.0.1. This update makes Beggi steadier, clearer, and kinder to use day to day. HOME & FEED • My Activity matches Home — Asks, Gives, and Bookmarks share the same card style, so switching tabs no longer feels like two different apps. • Prayer and view counts tick up smoothly instead of sitting frozen until you pull to refresh. • For you / Latest filters sit cleanly under the app bar — switch without losing your place. • Empty feed? Clear Refresh and Try again — not a screen that bounces away from you. • "You helped clear this" now has a short explainer so you know exactly what it means. • The feed remembers scroll position when you hop tabs and come back. • Staff notes on posts show as calm callouts — no guessing why something looks different. • Smarter pull-to-refresh on an empty timeline when signal drops. GIVE (HELPING SOMEONE) • "Before you give" on certain asks — a heads-up before you commit. • Replace payment proof when staff reopen upload — no dead ends on a rejected screenshot. • Give-hold notifications land on the right post when you tap them. • On-hold states read more clearly when you're mid-help or waiting. SIGN-IN, SESSIONS & LINKS • Face ID / fingerprint unlock is more reliable — fewer false logouts, saved email stays put. • Links from messages and notifications (/asks/…) open the correct post inside the app. • Signed in elsewhere? Clear message that this session ended — Help in Settings if it wasn't you. • Optional single-device sign-in under Safety & your data — one active session, if you want it. • Remote sign-out routes cleanly to login without awkward biometric flashes. NOTIFICATIONS & INVITE & EARN • Sturdier push delivery, less duplicate noise, engagement alerts merge into your in-app inbox. • Forced logout from push handled while the app is open — you're not left half-broken. • Invite & Earn loads faster with clearer labels for claims and payouts. PROFILE & PRIVACY • Abbreviate your last name on public posts if you prefer — "Ada L." instead of your full surname. • Optional public region: broad location only, never a street address. • Export your data — JSON or PDF of what we hold on you, from account settings. SUPPORT & SETTINGS • Send device diagnostics from Settings when our team asks — voluntary snapshot, less back-and-forth. • Support chat: read receipts when messages are seen, typing indicators when staff reply. • Shake feedback includes version, device, and where you were — reports that help us fix things. • Check for updates follows server policy: gentle nudge when a newer build is ready, firm gate when unsupported. POLISH • Frosty loading across submits and refreshes — consistent feel, not scattered spinners. • Quieter, clearer offline errors. Calmer login and first-open flows. iOS NATIVE BUILD Rebuilt for iPhone: native navigation, faster shell, refreshed bar design.
