Pictures finally show up. Images inside your documents render, and opening one fills the screen. Wikilinks in [[double brackets]] open the file they point to. On Mac, pressing space on a Markdown file in Finder previews it rendered, without opening the app. The preview keeps up now, too: edit a file somewhere else and MD Flow follows each save, without losing your place on the page.

Search now introduces itself. Once you have read a few documents, MD Flow mentions one time that search reaches inside your files, not just their names, and then gets out of the way. Finding a file by its name is free. Searching what your documents actually say is part of Pro, a one-time unlock.

MD Flow now opens with a small folder of examples, so there is something to read before you connect a folder of your own. Each one shows something the app understands — callouts, tables, math, diagrams, an email draft, and a prompt you can hand to your AI so its output arrives as files worth keeping. Email drafts now arrive the way you wrote them. Tables keep their columns, paragraphs keep their spacing, and the subject no longer goes missing in the Gmail app. When a draft carries formatting a compose link cannot hold, MD Flow offers the formatted version on your clipboard so one paste restores it. (Pro) Also fixed: a draft quoting the email conventions could delete part of itself before sending. Buy and Restore now say what happened instead of appearing to do nothing.

New in Pro: turn a Markdown file into an email. Give a file a "to:" line in its frontmatter and MD Flow recognises it as a draft — subject and recipients appear above the document, and one tap opens it fully written in Mail, Gmail or Outlook. Anything you marked as a private note stays behind. Free this release: rename files and move them to the Trash without leaving MD Flow. A new guide explains the conventions the app understands, ready to hand to whichever AI writes your files. Also fixed: long frontmatter values no longer get cut off at the top of a document.

New in Pro: search inside your documents. MD Flow now looks through the text of your files, not just their names — so a phrase you wrote months ago leads you straight to the document, with the matching line and its number shown right in the results. Free search now shows you when a match exists inside a file, instead of simply reporting nothing found. Also fixed: expanding folders now works when you are inside a subfolder, and results no longer lag a step behind what you typed.

MD Flow now speaks your language: the entire app is available in Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), and Simplified Chinese. Also new: a Privacy section in Settings — optional, fully anonymous usage statistics help us learn which features matter most. Never your files, never your identity, and you can switch it off anytime. Plus small fixes and under-the-hood improvements.

New in 1.8: your documents render even more. • Math with KaTeX — inline and display equations render beautifully. • Callouts — note, tip, important, warning and caution blocks, with full Markdown inside. • Frontmatter — YAML metadata appears as a tidy header instead of raw text (toggle it in Settings). All free in the preview — and with MD Flow Pro, everything carries over to PDF export: math, callouts and the frontmatter header survive the page.

New: Export any document as a polished PDF with MD Flow Pro — tables, code, and diagrams are scaled to fit the page — then share or save it. Plus a refreshed, more native look on the latest iOS.

New: Mermaid diagrams now render in the preview. Code blocks marked as "mermaid" — flowcharts, sequence diagrams, Gantt charts, pie charts, class diagrams, and more — appear as drawn diagrams instead of plain text.

Fixed a rendering issue: Markdown files with email addresses or links written in angle brackets could display with jumbled or missing text. They now render correctly as clickable links.

First time opening MD Flow? A short walkthrough now shows how it works — save your notes as files, connect a folder, then browse and preview. Search is much faster and no longer freezes as you type. Adding a folder is smoother, with no flicker. Opening a document shows a loading indicator, and iCloud files download automatically instead of showing a blank screen. Fixed: a folder connected inside another now displays correctly.

You can now rate MD Flow or send us feedback right from the app. After some reading, a small prompt asks how it's going. Tap Love it to leave an App Store rating, or Needs work to send a quick note, bug reports, feature ideas, anything you've noticed. The same options live in Settings → Feedback whenever you want them.

Reading improvements: tables now stay readable on narrow pages — columns no longer collapse, headings stay clear, and content lines up the way it should. The preview also has a new Width control (Reading column, Wide, or Full) — find it in Settings or the new arrow button in the preview toolbar — so each document uses the right amount of space on your screen.

Pro is here — a one-time unlock for unlimited connected folders, up to 50 recent and loose files, and cross-folder search across every folder at once. An optional tip jar is also available in Settings if you'd like to support ongoing development. Other improvements: • Connected folders keep working when you rename them from another device or in iCloud. • Sidebar toggle behavior is cleaner on macOS and iPad. • Small styling fix for the macOS Share button.
