Kalo now offers three ways to track: Solo, Partner, and Friends modes, switch any time from Settings. Premium is now two plans, Kalo Premium Solo for your own account and Kalo Premium Couple for you and the partner you star, each Weekly, Monthly, or Annual.

Kalo is smoother. Scrolling through your friends, meals and gallery no longer stutters, and screens open without a hitch. Your mascot now takes a moment to settle in before it starts moving.

Sign in with Apple is steadier. Tapping the button twice no longer stops the sign-in or shows a wrong error on top of the Apple sheet. Smaller fixes under the hood.

Editing a meal now sticks. Add or remove an ingredient and it stays exactly how you left it, no more snapping back mid-edit. Reactions now say who sent them. Your friend's character shows right on the reaction, and their name appears when you open the meal.

Log water without opening the app. Tap the glass on your home screen widget and the count updates right there. Also new: Watch your meal being analyzed from the lock screen. The result lands with calories and macros, then you can jump straight to it. Had this meal before? Log it again in two taps from the home screen shortcut. Open the camera from the lock screen and start a meal before the app is even open. Nudge a friend up to three times in four hours, so a quick back and forth is possible. Widgets now show your own mascot and your streak. Text follows your accessibility size everywhere, including sign in and setup. Signing in with Apple keeps the meals you already logged. Plus faster meal logging, friends and reactions.

Small fixes this time. A glass of water logged from the widget now always reaches the right day, even if you tap it just before midnight or while you are offline. Signing out no longer leaves your water behind for the next person on the phone. Tapping your partner's water count no longer adds a glass to yours.

Water now counts too. Tap the glass next to the camera button and watch your day fill up beside your partner's, so you both know who still needs a drink. You can add a glass straight from your Home Screen without opening Kalo, and Settings now has a page showing every widget and how to put one on your screen.

Your first logged meal now gets a proper moment. Meal cards sit in a neat lane instead of filling the screen, and the camera button answers with a gentle tap. Greetings and food names read correctly in your language, and we fixed a few places where a meal or a goal could get stuck.

Stability and app improvements.

Kalo opens straight into your day now. No more waiting on a grey screen that shuffles itself around once it finishes loading. If you and your partner are already linked, their side is there from the first moment, instead of briefly offering to invite someone you already have. Signing up is shorter too. We removed a consent screen, and we now ask about Health after your first meal and about notifications once you have someone to share with, so neither one interrupts you on the way in.

Getting started is easier now. Right after setup, Kalo shows you where to log your first meal, and celebrates with you when it lands. You can switch between metric and imperial in Settings, so weights read the way you already think about them. And if there is something you wish Kalo did, Settings now has Request a feature. It goes straight to us.

Fixed a problem where an ingredient could not be removed from a meal. If a meal has only one ingredient left, Kalo now tells you why instead of doing nothing. Smaller fixes and steadier performance throughout.

Your day, right on your Home Screen. Add the new Today widget to see the calories you have left, your protein, carbs and fat, your streak, and how your partner is doing, all without opening the app. There is a Lock Screen version too, and one tap takes you straight to logging your next meal.
