• One question to start: who is holding the camera? Your partner gets the other role, no extra steps • Typing the last digit of a code joins right away, and invite links last nearly an hour • Just installed from an invite? Paste the code, or it fills in by itself • A new bottom bar that feels at home on your phone • Every tap now responds, and reactions like Perfect reach the camera again

• Showing your pairing code now works on the very first launch after installing • Error reports now name the exact app build, so problems get fixed sooner • Behind-the-scenes reliability improvements

• Already have a KENSAURUS account? Sign in with it and this phone moves over, photos and pairing included • New KENSAURUS passport in Settings: try our other apps to collect stamps and free AI credits • Invite links open straight in the app more often • Equal-width bottom bar, and Home no longer opens the camera by itself • Settings is now fully translated in Thai, Chinese and Japanese • Fixed a double photo import from the gallery and an empty plus-button menu

• Skip and Get Started both open pairing — two phones, one live viewfinder, in about 20 seconds • First-run Home leads with Connect and hides the library until you have photos or a partner • The feedback banner stays out of the camera, pairing, and onboarding screens • Unpaired, the plus button says Pair with partner; Friends empty states now have a pair action • Director can tap the live view to mark a spot, with a short role cue at the start of a session • First shared photo shows a recap card so you know it landed on both phones

• Pairing invite links now open the pairing screen directly instead of an error page • Settings is easier to scan — options now group into sections you can open and close • Connection and reconnect messages are now fully translated in Thai, Chinese and Japanese • Steadier live sessions with faster reconnects, and a clear warning if a role switch does not go through • Refreshed dark-mode contrast plus a large under-the-hood update for speed and stability • Now requires iOS 16.4 or later

• Your photos are now stored privately — only you and your partner can ever open them • More reliable sign-in, plus faster and steadier pairing and reconnects • Extra privacy: reconnect alerts no longer show your pairing code on the lock screen • Behind the scenes: stronger account-level security, refreshed feedback tools, and stability improvements

• Updated Mushi SDK and dependencies for improved stability and security • Maintained launch-crash guard for native module bundling on production builds

• Refined the camera and QR-code permission screens — the explanation now leads straight into the system access prompt for a clearer, friendlier first run

• Two-way in-app feedback — send a report, track your submissions, and read admin replies in a threaded inbox (no more mailto hand-off) • Post-session nudge after a great shoot invites feedback at the peak moment; Settings tab shows a dot when you have unread replies • App Store review prompt after a successful pairing milestone (respects a 60-day cooldown so it never nags)

• Gallery multi-select toolbar no longer overlaps the bottom navigation — the action bar now sits cleanly above the nav so every button is reachable • Settings and Friends screens now scroll fully clear of the session status bar when a session is active — the last item is no longer clipped • Fixed "Added 1 photos" — singular/plural now correct in all four languages (English, Thai, Chinese, Japanese) • Deleted photos no longer flash back into the gallery during the 5-second undo window; the fix also prevents a toggled-favorite from re-surfacing a photo that is mid-delete • Photographer and Director role colours are now locked (Photographer = rose, Director = periwinkle) and stay consistent across every screen and badge • All toggle switches now share one on-colour across the app instead of mixing mint and pink • Friends tab switcher upgraded from an underline to a filled pill indicator — both tabs get the treatment, not just the active one • Camera encouragements and app copy are now gender-neutral throughout — same voice, wider welcome • Beta Tester Program: opt in from Settings to unlock full access, track your contribution count, and get milestone acknowledgements as you send reports

• Crafted splash reveal: the launch icon now rises through soft pastel blobs into a two-line "Help Her / Take Photo" wordmark with a breathing glow and drifting heart accents — no more flat pink flash • Memory Recap card redesigned with an asymmetric layout — anniversary day count anchors the left, the month pill and "View recap" CTA mirror on the right, so the card feels composed rather than templated • Home header rebalanced: the backend status pill now sits in the top-right corner with a 44pt touch target, freeing the brand block to breathe on the left • Smarter colour mapping on the home stat tiles — the "scoldings saved" counter reads as a saves chip (warm peach) and the photos counter reads as a photos chip (blue), so a glance distinguishes what each number means • Gallery delete now confirms before removing — single-photo and multi-select both ask first, then offer a 5-second Undo toast for accidental taps • Loader captions in the gallery vary per visit so the wait feels lighter; no more flicker mid-load and the same line never appears twice in a row • New app icon: cleaner mark, better contrast on dark home screens, and a matching tinted variant for the iOS 18 themed home screen — same shape, lighter footprint • Refined splash + icon assets across every density: smaller file sizes, sharper edges at small sizes, identical brand pink • New + expanded translations across English, Thai, Chinese Simplified, and Japanese for everything above (157 new strings) • Behind the scenes: tightened Supabase storage and RLS policies (anonymous list + delete locked down, security-definer functions revoked from public, hidden from PostgREST GraphQL surface) — no user-visible change, defense-in-depth only

Same lovely camera-direction app, just a little easier on the eyes. • A friendlier look across every screen — softer cards, calmer spacing, clearer titles • A new “What’s new” page so it’s easy to see what changed in this update • Privacy and Terms now match the rest of the app instead of looking like a plain web page • Sending feedback no longer pops up a blocking message — you get a quiet little confirmation • A bit more breathing room above the floating menu, so nothing important hides behind it • The QR scanner shows a friendly “preparing camera” card instead of going blank for a moment • Profile stats are slightly larger so they’re easier to read at a glance Thanks for using Help Her Take Photo. Got an idea or spotted something off? Tap “Send Feedback” in Settings — every note gets read.
