NEW • Downloaded stories now tell you when new chapters are out: a banner in Library ▸ Downloads and a dot on the story's download icon. Tap Download new chapters to fetch only what is missing. • Get a notification when a story you downloaded posts a new chapter, even if it is not in a collection. • AO3 bookmarks now bring their notes and tags. Sync your AO3 account again: each bookmark tag becomes a collection, and the notes you wrote yourself stay as they are. • Premium plans show up faster and refresh on their own when your connection comes back. FIXED • When a translation language fails to download, the app says so and offers Retry, instead of showing it as downloaded. • Tapping an author with a pen name opens the right profile. • Home, Explore and Reading journey show content for a new account from the first launch.

NEW • Explore tab and a refreshed Home to help you find your next read. • Send kudos, read and leave comments, and keep private notes on works and chapters. • Reading journey: a daily streak, 10 reader levels, stats, a Finished shelf and shareable image cards. • Save searches and run them again, pick fandoms when you start, and open AO3 links shared from other apps. • Block tags and authors you do not want to see. • Read aloud can continue into the next chapter on its own, with a sleep timer. Translate any passage you select. • More page colors, fonts and margins, and a larger layout on tablets. • Sign in with email. Sync, notifications and your Reading journey also work without signing in, and saved pages open when AO3 is unavailable. • ArchFic Premium is optional. It removes ads and adds full reading stats, extra share cards, extra fonts and page colors, whole-collection downloads, EPUB export and automatic next-chapter read aloud. Without Premium, ArchFic shows a banner and a few ads between lists. They never cover a story. FIXED • Fewer blank chapters, cut-off pages and stray symbols read aloud, and your chosen reader background stays put. • Comments show an error with Retry when a connection stalls. • Smaller fixes and 19 more languages for the newer screens.

NEW • Read a chapter's comments without leaving the reader. Tap the comment button in the bottom bar; replying and kudos open AO3 itself, where your AO3 sign-in applies. • Save favourite tags — relationships, characters, fandoms, freeforms, any tag AO3 has. Tap the star on a tag, a search result or a fandom in Browse. Home's recommendations now follow the tags you saved instead of guessing at your most-read fandom. • Authors' notes now show up: a story's own notes on its page, and a chapter's notes and end notes in the reader. Saved with downloads, so they are there offline. • Translate a story's title, summary, notes and freeform tags on its page, with one tap. Tap again for the original. • The reader now opens in a page colour that matches your theme, with a new Auto option to hand the choice back. • Both chapter lists mark the chapters you already have downloaded, so you can see what will open offline before you tap it. • Settings > Version now opens a page with every version's changes and the bigger features still to come. FIXED • A downloaded story opens with no connection — including one only part-downloaded, which opens to the chapters that are on your phone. • A download interrupted part-way is no longer recorded as finished. It shows its progress with a resume button, and stories already recorded wrongly repair themselves. • Update alerts no longer arrive for a story that does not exist, and an update you cannot open no longer lands on a "Page not found" screen. • Read-aloud no longer goes quiet for the rest of a chapter when the phone's speech engine fails on one paragraph, and no longer says a stray word like "nbsp". • Error messages now explain themselves in your own language instead of showing an internal name. • Story summaries keep the author's paragraph breaks, on the story page and on every card. • Tag search shows the most-used tags first, and tapping a tag opens its stories instead of an empty screen. • Fixed the keyboard closing after every letter once a search grew longer than the search box. • Your email now shows after signing in with Google or Apple, a failed sign-in explains itself, and backup & sync no longer switches itself off after a poor-connection launch. • Opening a story loads it once instead of twice, so the reader appears sooner and uses about half the data. • Chapter notes, the chapter list highlight, the Share panel on small phones, and pop-up panels running under the home bar are all fixed too.

FIXES • Multi-chapter stories no longer open with only chapter 1. If you are signed in to your AO3 account, the full chapter list is back. • Read-aloud plays sound again on iPhone, including with the ring/silent switch on. • Read-aloud now remembers where you got to, so closing the app no longer sends you back to the start of the chapter. • Read-aloud tells you when your phone is muted instead of playing silently. • Signing out of your AO3 account now really signs you out.
