Krux 1.2 — task lists, undo for formatting, and a preview you can copy from. TASK LISTS The preview renders - [ ] and - [x] as real checkboxes, and HTML and PDF exports tick exactly the boxes you ticked — 1.1 could export an unticked box as ticked if the same line mentioned "[x]" further along. Toggle a task with ⇧⌘T or from the Format menu. UNDO THAT UNDERSTANDS FORMATTING ⌘B, ⌘I, links, lists and the other formatting commands are now properly undoable with ⌘Z — and undo keeps the window, the document and the file on disk in agreement. THE PREVIEW IS YOURS TO COPY Fixed a real one: dragging across rendered preview text moved the window instead of selecting. You can now select and copy from the preview like any other text. RELIABILITY Switching documents between tabs and windows — including right after the first save of a brand-new document — can no longer lose what you typed. A failed PDF render reports an error instead of producing a blank file. Exported HTML now escapes everything: a document that quotes HTML or scripts exports as visible text, never as live markup. BIG DOCUMENTS Documents over 200 KB edit at full typing speed: live analysis (highlighting, outline, statistics) pauses with a clear indicator and resumes when the document drops back under the threshold. A hidden preview pane no longer renders in the background. ALSO • UTF-16 files and UTF-8 files with a byte-order mark round-trip byte-identically • The What's New sheet no longer reappears once per restored window • Outline navigation can no longer jump to the wrong heading when two headings share a name • Reduce Motion is honored throughout
