Unpavediest now goes looking for dirt. UNPAVEDIEST • It probes for unpaved roads, weighs the extra time against the dirt it actually gains, and picks the dirtiest route that earns its pace. Before, it often handed back tarmac. • Add a stop and it stays dirty — adding a waypoint used to quietly turn dirt-seeking off. • Optional: include forest tracks that may be private or closed to motor vehicles. You are responsible for checking signage and local law. CARPLAY • If a route needs a map you have not downloaded, the car screen now offers to download it, shows the progress, and routes you as soon as it lands. FIXES • Cancelling a route calculation now actually stops it — and you can cancel from the phone too. • A route holds up to 100 stops, and tells you when you reach the limit.

A map of your area on the Home Screen, plus fixes for a few things that interrupted rides. NEARBY WIDGET • Put a mini-map of where you are on your Home Screen, with one-tap Search, Fuel, Food, and Record. Three sizes. ROUTE MIX • See what a route style actually delivered — the unpaved share on Unpavediest, the curvy share on Curviest — right next to the distance. Turn it on in Settings. FIXES • The acceleration meter no longer treats ordinary town riding as a launch, and its result card clears itself instead of waiting for a tap. • The review prompt no longer appears while you're still riding.

Record your rides on camera, route an electric scooter, and set a routing mode for every stop. RIDE VIDEO • Record your ride from the front camera, the rear camera, or both at once — saved alongside the trip. Capture engine and ambient sound too, if you want. Turn it on in Settings. SCOOTER • A new Scooter vehicle type routes electric kick-scooters onto scooter-friendly roads and paths. PER-STOP ROUTING MODE • On a multi-stop route, choose how each leg is calculated — Fastest to one stop, Curviest to the next — right from the planner. No Pro needed. FIXES • Your saved favorites stay visible after you clear recent searches, plus smaller refinements.

Now on Mac and iPad, plus fully-offline street search and a clearer traffic view. MAC & IPAD • TrackHound now runs on Apple Silicon Macs and on iPad. Plan your routes on a big screen with a keyboard, then pick up your phone to ride — it's a planning companion, so ride-only features (turn-by-turn, recording, CarPlay) stay on the phone. OFFLINE STREET SEARCH • Search street addresses fully offline, inside any region you've downloaded — no signal needed to look up where you're going. WORLDWIDE DATELINE FIX • New Zealand, Fiji, Alaska, Kiribati, Tuvalu and the Russian Far East now route correctly across the 180° meridian. 1.4.1 brings 3D navigation, new road-awareness alerts, and fresh ways to plan — plus Apple Health and a stack of fixes. 3D NAVIGATION • New pitched, course-up 3D map for turn-by-turn on iPhone and CarPlay — the road tilts into view as you drive. • The route line now colours by traffic congestion, so you can read the slow stretches ahead at a glance. • Speed cameras and traffic markers show right on the map, on CarPlay and iPhone. ROAD AWARENESS • Speed-camera alerts are now a standard feature (previously beta): an offline dataset warns you on approach, with markers on the map. Opt-in from Settings — you're responsible for local legality. • Live traffic (Pro): congestion-aware ETA plus live incident, roadworks, and closure markers along your route. • Dead-end warning (beta): a spoken heads-up — with the road's length and whether it's unpaved — as you enter a no-through-road. NEW WAYS TO PLAN • Surprise me (beta): one tap builds an auto-loop from your location through nearby town and village centres, all as editable stops. • Bicycle routing: a new mode using Valhalla's native bicycle costing. • Prefer narrow roads for motorcycles (beta): steer routing toward smaller, quieter roads. • Preload destinations from your calendar events. RIDES • Save completed rides to Apple Health as workouts. CARPLAY • Auto-select your vehicle from the connected car — CarPlay switches you to Car, and unplugging restores your previous vehicle. • The 3D navigation camera is now out of beta. • Fixed the Dashboard maneuver text. FIXES • Fixed a CarPlay map freeze when starting a new trip, and silent voice guidance on a cold, locked CarPlay relaunch. • The CarPlay Dashboard map now stays up to date while you drive, and the CarPlay map reliably appears on a cold start instead of coming up blank. • The "Not enough storage" warning no longer flashes and vanishes. • The roadbook and map now follow your phone's orientation by default. • The nav map no longer zooms back out to the whole route mid-drive. 1.4.0 is a big CarPlay update, plus new planning and roadbook tools — the full picture since 1.3.0: CARPLAY • Dashboard: TrackHound's live moving map now appears in the CarPlay Dashboard card, next to Now Playing — with shortcut buttons for your recent favourites to start a route in one tap. • Instrument tiles on the CarPlay map — speed with the posted speed-limit sign, route-alignment heading, vehicle attitude (pitch & roll), and current altitude — colour-coded green / orange / red and configurable. • Lane guidance (beta): which lane(s) to take at upcoming maneuvers. • Edge cues: the screen edge blinks orange toward your next turn and glows red when you're over the limit. • Tap the map to drop a destination, zoom and pan with the car's controls, auto-recenter to your route, and reroute on the car screen with no phone needed. • The maneuver card matches the car's day & night theme, and instructions no longer flicker. PLANNING • Route padding by target duration — enter how long you want to be out and TrackHound extends the route to match your pace. • Route styles: common vs style-specific tuning grouped clearly, each control with a "modified" dot and one-tap reset. ROADBOOK & RIDES • Altitude tile (current elevation, m/ft) and a user-set safe pitch/roll for the attitude gauge, per vehicle. • Choose your own accent colour (Settings → Roadbook Appearance). • Post-ride summary adds ride telemetrics (acceleration, braking, top/avg speed, lean) and shows your intermediate stops. • GPX history: re-open past imports and exports. • Intermediate stops pause on arrival with a Continue prompt and numbered map markers, on CarPlay and iPhone. FIXES • Route corridor basemap cached for smoother offline navigation. • A second route always starts without restarting the app. • Clearer attitude readout. A whole new way to navigate, plus more control over your maps: • Map navigation style — a full-screen moving map that follows you, with your speed, the speed limit, distance and ETA right on the map. Flip between Map and Roadbook with the on-screen button; your choice is remembered per vehicle. • Heading cone on the blue dot, so you can see which way you're facing. • Stay in country — keep a route from crossing a border (insurance, vignettes, fuel prices).
