Clippist is a native macOS clipboard manager built for fast reuse of copied content, reusable snippets, and terminal workflows.
■ Clipboard History
Clippist keeps a history of copied text, links, images, files, PDFs, and rich text.
Click an item to copy it back to the clipboard, or drag it into compatible apps.
■ Snippets
Save frequently used text as reusable snippets and organize them in folders.
Snippets are stored separately from clipboard history, making them useful for templates, commands, signatures, support replies, and repeated messages.
■ Terminal Integration
Clippist includes an optional command-line tool for zsh.
From Terminal, open a keyboard-driven picker for clipboard history or snippets, choose with the arrow keys, and insert the selected text into the current prompt.
Default shortcuts:
History: Control-X then Control-P
Snippets: Control-X then Control-L
This is especially useful for shell commands, paths, URLs, tokens, support snippets, and repeated terminal workflows.
■ Menu Bar Workflow
Open Clippist from the macOS menu bar and quickly find the item you need.
Customize menu grouping, numbering, icons, and history size.
■ Keyboard Shortcuts

Shortcuts are used to show Clippist, not to automatically paste into other apps.

■ Private by Design
Your clipboard history and snippets stay on your Mac.

Improved stability in the snippet manager. Folder and snippet ordering is now handled more reliably, and snippets without folders can now be created, displayed, and reordered correctly.
This update also improves menu interaction and global shortcut behavior, including more stable support for modifier-key double-tap shortcuts.
As before, selecting a history item or snippet copies its content to the system clipboard.
