A small update after your feedback — thank you for the messages. • Pinch-to-zoom on the piano is smooth now and follows your fingers • The input level above the pitch trace is larger and easier to read • The highlighted key on the piano now shows its name on one line, centred • A one-time question after a few sessions: is SingTuner useful to you? Your answer helps other singers find the app — or tells me what to improve • A note from the author in Settings, with a way to rate the app or write to me

Fixes from a singer's report — thank you! • Pitch trace: sharps and flats now land on their black key, not one key to the right • Staff: the sharp sign sits on its note, and notes just outside the staff no longer get a stray ledger line • A4 calibration takes effect immediately • The microphone pauses while the app is in the background, and the tuner recovers after a phone call or when you plug in headphones • The Apple Watch app is back

SingTuner is back to doing one thing well: showing you the note you're singing, instantly. • The Recorder mode and note transcription have been removed — they didn't meet our bar for accuracy, and they got in the way of the live tuner • Your voice is never written to disk anymore: nothing is recorded, nothing is stored • Smaller, faster app with a single focused screen Happy singing!

Note recognition got a major accuracy upgrade, and your results are now easier to share. RECOGNITION • Far more accurate transcription — octave errors on piano notes fixed • No more phantom in-between notes from vocal slides and vibrato • Note lengths now reflect what you actually sang or played • Repeated notes are detected as separate notes, even without a pause RESULTS & SHARING • Export your transcription as a PNG sheet, a MIDI file, or plain text • Playback highlights the current note and the staff scrolls along • Recognise again: re-run recognition on the same take with different sensitivity and voice-isolation settings • Tip: recording an instrument? Turn voice isolation off in the recognise sheet

This update is all about recording your practice. Capture what you sing, play it back, and see exactly which notes you hit on the staff and piano. • Record your voice and replay it on-device — nothing leaves your phone • Redesigned results screen showing the notes you sang • Fresh typography and a cleaner, calmer look throughout • Smoother, steadier pitch tracking and tuner needle As always: no accounts, no ads, no analytics. Just your voice.
