How it works Browse open meetups happening near you — at bars, restaurants, rooftops, and hidden gems curated by people who actually know the city. When something catches your eye, request to join. Once you're in, you get access to the group chat to coordinate, connect, and arrive already knowing someone. Can't find what you're looking for? Create your own meetup, set the place, and let the right people come to you. Met someone great at a meetup? Add them as a friend and stay connected — invite them to your next one, or see when they're going out in the same city as you. App Store / TestFlight release notes — v1.0.2 Bug fixes - Fixed: new users whose entered home city that wasn't in our supported list landed on an empty venues feed. You now always start in the city you picked during onboarding. - Fixed: the city shown next to each friend (and on profiles) sometimes stayed frozen on the old onboarding city. It now reflects where they actually are. Travel mode - The city selector on the venues feed now acts as a true travel mode. When you pick a different city, you're shown as "Currently in [that city]" on your profile, and friends staying there see you in their "friends here" list while friends back home don't. Switch back to your home city any time. Sign-up & profile - Sign-up is shorter — the redundant "where do you live" step has been removed. Your city is set once when you pick where you'll be active. Date & time pickers - Create-meetup now uses a single "When" field that reads "Today, 21:00" by default (or "Fri 23 May, 21:00" once a non-today date is picked). Tapping it opens a combined day · hour · minute spinner with Confirm and Cancel buttons. Snaps to 5-minute steps. This also resolves the iOS bug where the time wheel appeared greyed out at 01:00. - The date-of-birth picker during sign-up also has clear Confirm and Cancel buttons. Notifications - Backend support added so approved members can receive a push the moment their application is accepted by the team.
