Access will begin rolling out by invitation to a select group while we tune the experience before a wider release. Early access includes deeper community discussions, Forum search, saved threads, Helpful marks, and smoother browsing through longer conversations. Messages are smarter, too. Complete street addresses are now tappable, with quick directions through Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze. Phone numbers are tappable as well, with a confirmation before Idle hands the call off to your iPhone. We also added the usual performance improvements and polish throughout Idle.

New profiles now finish setting up cleanly before notifications connect, removing an unnecessary behind-the-scenes hiccup. We also strengthened community safeguards, improved moderation records, and hardened the foundation behind Forums, which remains Coming Soon.

Links shared in Direct and Group messages can now show clean previews with artwork, titles, and sources, while Idle Meet and Convoy links keep their purpose-built cards. Group owners have clearer tools for updating and closing Groups. We also fixed social links disappearing from profiles, polished photo previews when posting to Pulse, clarified membership and account information, and tightened privacy, safety, loading, and reliability throughout Idle.

Chats now open at the newest message, preserve your place while you read older replies, and show when new messages are waiting below. A new jump control takes you smoothly back to the latest message. We also polished CarPlay discovery, notifications, account switching, startup, inbox gestures, message reconnects, and Demo Mode separation throughout Idle.

Animated rings and profile card effects stay cleaner at smaller sizes, pause when they’re no longer visible, and Garage content refreshes more reliably when you return to your profile. Host Tools also got upgraded, so you can edit a live meet’s flyer with the same polished controls after it’s already posted. This update also included minor bug fixes & performance improvements.

What’s new: • Upcoming mapped meets can now appear in a clean CarPlay meet map. • CarPlay meet details include quick context and driving directions. • Apple Wallet Idle Cards make it easier to share your Idle profile in person. • Convoys help coordinate the drive around a meet. • Posting for another host now gives clearer credit to the original host. • Pulse replies and feed controls are cleaner. • The tab bar now tucks away as you scroll and returns when you scroll back up.
