Fixed a rare crash that could occur while scanning a network.

Devices that haven't answered recent scans are now marked in the list, so you can tell them apart from the ones currently responding. App Lock can be turned off in Settings if you'd rather open the app without Face ID. Discovery is more reliable: devices that don't respond to a ping are found more often, and scans now allow more time for devices that announce themselves intermittently. Fixed a case where a device with no usable address would offer a port scan that couldn't reach it.

Better identification for printers, media players, and smart-home devices — NetScanPro now sees service announcements it was previously being blocked from reading. Fixed a bug where one device could show up as two entries in your list, and another where a device's name could change between scans. Existing duplicates are merged automatically the next time you scan.

Tap through to a device in Safari straight from NetScanPro — useful when a device won't tell you its name and the only way to identify it is to open whatever it's serving. After scanning your network, you'll now see every device with a web port open in one place, with one tap to each.

Every port NetScanPro scans now has a plain-language explanation, and the ones that carry real risk come with a security note that tells you what to do about it. You can also send feedback straight from the info screen now — the fastest way to tell us what's working, what isn't, and what you'd like to see added.

Your custom device names now stay with the right device. Previously, when your router reassigned an address, a name could end up on different hardware. When a device you've named might have moved, NetScanPro now asks instead of guessing — and you can undo the answer if you get it wrong. Better names for devices discovered over UPnP, and improved identification for printers, media players, and smart home gear.

NetScanPro now identifies what's on your network. Devices show real names, types, and manufacturers instead of raw IP addresses, with an honest confidence indicator so you can tell a confirmed identification from a best guess. The device you're scanning from identifies itself, and many more device types are recognized automatically. Pro users get even sharper identification when port-scanning a device.

Pro features are now clearly labeled throughout the app, so you always know what's included before you tap. The upgrade screen now shows you exactly what you're unlocking based on the feature you came from. Free scans still reset daily, and Pro remains a one-time purchase.

What's New: You can now manage your networks manually: - Create your own named networks and pin a scan to a specific one — so two different sites that share the same subnet and gateway no longer get merged into a single record. - Move devices from one network to another to clean up your existing catalog. - Auto-detect remains the default and works exactly as before.

Tap any finding to see exactly which devices are affected. - Clearer security guidance: port security notes now use severity tiers, so a genuine risk looks different from a "good to know." We rewrote the notes for SMB, RDP, RTSP, and printer ports to lead with the real risk and a specific action to take. - Added VNC (port 5900) to port scanning, plus improved detection of smart-home and Matter devices.

Better device identification.
