Meridian Dispatch is a journal you don't keep. The app reads your photo library, finds the international trips you've taken, identifies the venues, writes the prose, and lays it out like a magazine spread. The first time you open the app, the last several years of your travel are already there. Every trip after that goes in automatically.

Photos cluster by location and time. Each cluster becomes a venue: the museum you spent the morning in, the restaurant you took two hours at, the neighborhood you wandered through after dinner. No tagging. No prompts at the end of the day. No logbook to forget about. The journal is keeping itself while you live the trip.

Every day opens with a hero photograph, the country in Playfair across it, and a one-sentence summary in italic Lora that reads like a letter home. Activities lay out in six rotating magazine layouts so no two pages feel the same. Each venue gets a name and a short editorial description. Edit anything you want to change. Regenerate the parts you want fresh.
MAPPED ON A GLOBE
Every country in your archive, lit on a private 3D globe. Spin it to find that week in Croatia, that long weekend in Lisbon, that month in Japan. The globe is the table of contents for your journal.

This is the best app I’ve ever used for scrapbooking my travel photos/activities, and planning future trips, all in one place. It’s great for organizing photos from past trips so I can relive memories as they happened day by day. Otherwise my photos from trips would just get left behind in my photo album, unorganized, and not collected into a scrapbook for future viewing. I am also obsessed with the globe feature, as I’m able to see all the countries I’ve visited laid out on the globe. Once I gave it access to the GPS of my photos, I realized how many countries I’ve been to which I’ve never actually counted, and it lit them up across the globe (with my photos attached from each individual country!)The final feature — the planning feature, is the most user friendly and easiest trip planner I’ve found on any app. It organizes all my hotels and flights, and lets me pick activities based on the location of my stops. Then it automatically tells me distances between activities and approximates how long activities will take. No other app I’ve come across has done this. Wow. I’ve been looking for an all-in-one memory book and trip planner, and this is it. I will be using it for all my future trips, and would give it 10+ stars if I could. HIGHLY recommend for all the travelers out there!

I’m genuinely obsessed with this app. It automatically detects your international trips from your camera roll and turns them into these beautifully organized, magazine style travel journals. It groups everything by country, dates, days, and even places, so instead of endlessly scrolling through thousands of photos, you get this curated little story of your trip.What makes it so special is that it doesn’t just organize pictures, it actually creates a narrative from your travels, almost like a personalized itinerary/journal hybrid. Seeing highlights from each place brought back so many memories I forgot I even had.It’s definitely going to become one of my favorite ways to relive trips and look back on experiences in a more meaningful way than just having photos buried in my camera roll. Such a smart and creative idea!

Version 1.2 turns your finished trips into something you can hold onto and share. You can now create a shareable trip video, built entirely on your device from your own photos, opening with a signature globe that flies in to each country. There is a new print-ready PDF journal too: a magazine-style keepsake with photo-aware layouts that keep people in frame. Behind the scenes, on-device photo scoring now curates your strongest shots into balanced collages, and sharper place detection names the venues you actually visited in each day's summary. The whole app feels more considered: a Liquid Glass refresh across the globe, Dispatches, and the tab bar, a smoother zoom as you open a trip, day summaries you can edit and regenerate, country-scoped search, an all-photos viewer, and small tactile touches (like a gentle haptic when you open a day). We also fixed several crashes and sped up launch on large photo libraries. As always, your photos never leave your device.
