A journal with no manners. Write the petty, jealous, unfiltered stuff. No cloud, no account, no tracking. Nobody is reading, so be honest. WickedPad - A Journal With No Manners Most journaling apps want you to be a better person. Gratitude lists, gentle affirmations, be-your-best-self prompts. Nice for about four days, then you quit. WickedPad is the other kind. This is where the petty, jealous, unfiltered stuff goes. The rant you cannot post. The grudge you are keeping warm. The thing you would never say to their face. Nobody is reading, there is no account, and nothing leaves your phone, so for once you can be honest instead of nice. What you get - Fast daily entries - open the app, pick your mood, write, done - 6 mood tags - great, calm, okay, anxious, sad, angry - Search your own history - find an old entry by a word you remember, or filter down to one mood - Daily prompts that lean honest, not wholesome - "Who got on your last nerve today?" over "What are you grateful for?" 46 of them, a different one every day - Nothing leaves the phone - no account to make, no cloud to sync to, no server that could ever be breached or subpoenaed - A note to yourself on save - a short line generated on your device from your mood and entry, written like an accomplice, not a coach. Local, offline, template-based, not AI - Monthly recap - at the start of a new month, a look back at last month's entries: count, best streak, top mood, top words. All computed on-device - Streaks and milestones - keep the run going. Miss a day, it just resets, no lecture - Daily reminder - optional local nudge at a time you pick - Export - share all your entries as plain text whenever you want Who it's for - People who found Day One, Journey, or Penzu too earnest, too cloud-dependent, or too expensive - Anyone who wants the honest stuff kept off someone else's servers - People who journal about touchy things (work, relationships, grudges) and do not want that sitting in someone else's database - Anyone who is done paying a monthly subscription for a notebook Private by design - No account - no sign-up, no email, no ID - 100% on-device storage - entries live in your phone's private app storage - No cloud sync - reinstall the app and the entries are gone. That is the trade-off for keeping them nowhere but here - No analytics, no tracking, no crash reporting, no advertising or data-collecting SDKs - Nothing to share to - there is no server - The note-to-self is a plain on-device template using your mood and word count, not a cloud function and not an AI model What WickedPad is NOT - Not a social app - no feed, no following, no sharing - Not a productivity tool - no goals, tasks, or calendars - Not therapy - it is a writing space, not a clinician - Not a cloud backup - see above, that is the point WickedPad is 100% free. No ads, no in-app purchases.
