New: compare every improvement option side by side — and hand the client a PDF that ranks them, so the one that pays back is obvious and the one that doesn't is too. Which process change is actually worth doing? FlowVisual lets you model a business process, stress-test it, and see — in money — where it breaks and what fixing it is worth. Then it hands you the document that proves it to a client. THE PAGE THAT WINS THE PROJECT Model two, three, five improvement options. FlowVisual ranks them and puts the comparison straight into your proposal PDF: this one pays back in four months, that one is worth roughly nothing. That single page is what a client pays a consultant for — and it is the one thing a spreadsheet never gives you. WHY SIMULATE INSTEAD OF AVERAGING A process that looks fine "on average" quietly bleeds money on the bad days. Averages hide the tail: the 200% Monday, the sick-day pile-up, the demand spike. FlowVisual runs thousands of Monte Carlo days over your process and shows the whole distribution — the typical day, the bad day, and the day it breaks. FIRST NUMBER IN A MINUTE 1. Model it. Drag in steps, set duration, capacity and cost. Or open one of five ready-made processes and change the numbers. 2. Stress-test it. One click runs thousands of simulated days. 3. Read the verdict. Where the bottleneck is, how often you run over capacity, and what it costs per day and per year. FIND WHAT IS ACTUALLY WORTH FIXING - Bottleneck ranking shows the real constraint. Improving anything else is worth nothing, and now you can prove that too. - Fragility shows where the process will break as volume grows, before it does. - Volatility stress reveals the hidden killer: a process at 100% on average runs away when load swings to 200% one day and 0% the next. - Rework loops, parallel branches, split percentages and linked process networks are modelled properly, not approximated. PROVE IT IN MONEY - Capture the as-is, change the process, and get a before/after business case with an honest confidence band. - Every number is traceable: the headline calculation, an assumptions block, and a change table showing exactly what moved. - Branded proposal and documentation PDFs — hand over a defensible number, not a hunch. - Export everything as JSON and CSV for Excel, BI or your own report. - Pick your display currency: EUR, USD, GBP, JPY, CNY, KRW, CHF, INR, AUD, CAD. BUILT FOR CONSULTANTS AND OPERATIONS Simulate a whole company area, keep versions of a process side by side, and quantify the improvement in one place. Your process data stays on your Mac — nothing is uploaded, nothing is synced. TRY IT BEFORE YOU PAY Modelling and stress-testing are free, with no time limit. FlowVisual Pro unlocks saving, export and the branded PDFs — one week free, then an annual subscription. Model once, stress-test forever. Stop arguing about process changes and start proving them. Version 1.0.3 — sharper numbers, readable diagrams, better client documents. WHAT YOU HAND THE CLIENT - The options comparison is now in the proposal PDF: every variant you tested, ranked, with the ones that are not worth doing marked as such. - Payback is calculated from your own rates instead of a fixed assumption. - Documentation PDFs carry the date you exported them. - The cover page no longer claims a change resolves the bottleneck when the analysis says it does not. - English exports are English throughout — headings, file names and footers. MORE ACCURATE RESULTS - Parallel branches that merge again keep their full volume. Steps after the merge are no longer under-counted and no longer disappear from the bottleneck ranking. - One overloaded side branch no longer drags down the throughput of the whole process, so the per-year figures stay realistic. - A loop with no way out is now reported as a blocking error instead of a quiet 10,000% load. DIAGRAMS YOU CAN READ - Arrowheads on every connection — direction is visible in a screenshot, not only in the animation. - Split percentages are printed on the connections: a 70/30 split looks like 70/30. - Rework loops route around the steps in between instead of cutting straight through them. - Clicks respond immediately, and hovering shows what you are about to hit. FEWER SURPRISES - Deleting a sub-process removes everything inside it — no more ghost areas in the navigator or the landscape view. - Quitting with unsaved work now offers Save, not only discard. - Undo refreshes the inspector, so old values cannot be written back. - Your last project reopens on launch, and recent files are one click away.
