On what's been left out
A good instrument cluster doesn't ask for your attention. It answers one question quickly and lets you look back at the road. DriveCluster is built on that idea — fewer panels, larger numbers, no chrome you don't need.
DriveCluster is read-only. It never sends commands to your car. Your VIN is used only to identify your vehicle during Bluetooth connection and to manage the app key for that vehicle. Your VIN and app key are stored in the on-device Keychain and are not uploaded to external servers. You can delete the saved VIN, app key, and app settings by disconnecting the vehicle in Settings.
Received vehicle data stays on your device.

Love this app been using it for a week now and it’s great reads speed correctly without the need of buying after maker products and only thing would be nice to add more custom clusters if possible and thank you, other then that great app no issues at all

This app is essentially a key for your Tesla. I’m very suspicious. Based on my googling you should exercise extreme caution when a third-party app asks for your Tesla VIN and key card to "access" your vehicle.If an app is asking for your Key Card to be tapped or for advanced API tokens that permit unlocking/driving, it can potentially use those to "register new keys" without your awareness, according to studies of similar vulnerabilities.I am not saying this app is nefarious but I didn’t even dare to give it that much access to my car. Sorry.

Thank you for being cautious. Security concerns are completely understandable for any app that connects to a vehicle.That said, I’d like to clarify one misunderstanding. DriveCluster does not function as a vehicle key, and it is not designed to control your car. It does not provide unlock, drive/start, trunk, climate, key registration, or key removal features.DriveCluster uses Tesla’s official vehicle communication API over Bluetooth to read vehicle status data for dashboard display only. The VIN is used only to identify your vehicle during the Bluetooth connection process. The VIN and app key are stored in the iPhone Keychain and are not uploaded to external servers. Received vehicle data also stays on your device.I fully understand being careful about vehicle access. I just wanted to make clear that DriveCluster is not a vehicle key, but a read-only dashboard app that displays vehicle status information.

Not sure if it can be done or if extra hardware is needed. Any way to add blindspot warnings?
