Battery processing happens on your device. Notifications and Live Activities are created and updated locally, without a LowBat backend or remote notification server.
• Communicates directly with your Philips Hue Bridge over local Wi-Fi.
• Reads HomeKit battery information through Apple’s HomeKit framework.
• No LowBat account, sign-up, tracking, analytics or ads.
• Your accessory battery data is not uploaded to LowBat servers.
• No Hue cloud account required.
If local Hue Bridge discovery fails, LowBat may contact Philips Hue’s discovery service to find your bridge. Optional purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store.

• Use either source independently, or both together.
Available information depends on what each accessory reports. Background checks, notifications, widgets and Live Activity updates depend on iOS scheduling and accessory availability; continuous real-time monitoring is not guaranteed.
