This update brings a significantly improved iPad experience, a smarter AI Spending Coach, more accurate receipt scanning, and a range of improvements across iPhone and iPad. IPAD — NEW MONTH NAVIGATION Month navigation on iPad has been completely redesigned. Every screen that lets you browse by month — My Expenses, EMI and Subscriptions, Card and Wallet, and the AI Spending Coach — now uses a clean pill-style chevron control in the toolbar. Tap the left arrow to go back a month, the right to go forward, and the centre label to jump back to the current month instantly. The control sits neatly in the toolbar so it is always within reach. IPAD TOOLBAR — SEARCH AND SHARE The toolbar across all major iPad screens now shows a combined search and share pill. Search your expenses without navigating away, and export or share from the same spot. Always accessible, never crowding the screen. AI SPENDING COACH — SHARPER INSIGHTS The AI Spending Coach has been updated with faster, clearer, and more actionable insights. Fixed monthly commitments — EMIs, loan repayments, and subscriptions — are now shown separately from your flexible day-to-day spending. This makes it immediately clear how much of your income is locked into fixed costs each month versus what you actually have control over. The biggest expense spike detection is now more accurate, comparing spending category by category week over week — giving you an earlier warning when one area is quietly growing before it becomes a problem at month end. Budget risk alerts now factor in remaining days in the month before flagging a warning, reducing false alerts early in the month. On supported devices, all analysis continues to run entirely on your device using Apple Intelligence. Your data never leaves your phone or iPad. RECEIPT SCANNING — MORE ACCURATE The receipt scanner finds totals more reliably across a wider range of receipt formats. Smart detection now searches the bottom portion of the receipt first — where grand totals almost always appear — before scanning upward. This significantly reduces wrong amounts on long receipts with multiple subtotals. Merchant name detection has also improved. The scanner correctly identifies the merchant from the top of the receipt in more cases, pre-filling the expense name so you rarely need to type it manually. Date detection now supports additional formats covering more international receipt styles. COUPLE WORKSPACE — SYNC IMPROVEMENTS The couple workspace now syncs instantly after switching between devices. The brief stale state when moving from iPhone to iPad has been removed. Shared bill updates from your partner now appear faster and more reliably via iCloud. ICLOUD SYNC IMPROVEMENTS Expenses, trips, and budgets sync more quickly after opening the app, and sync conflicts are resolved more gracefully when the same data is edited on two devices close together in time. GENERAL IMPROVEMENTS • Expense category icons load instantly on first open with no blank state • Budget alert badges update immediately after each new expense is added • Currency exchange rates refresh more reliably when the app opens • Several small visual fixes in light and dark mode throughout • Performance improvements on older iPhone and iPad models COMING SOON Localisation for additional languages is in progress. Apple Watch support is coming in a new version — speak an expense into your Apple Watch and it syncs instantly across all your Apple devices via private iCloud, without touching your phone or iPad.
