Minor fixes and what's new sheet improvement with optional promo sheet

On Fridays the dhuhr prayer is now shown as Jumu'ah everywhere, in the app, the widget and on Apple Watch. The Friday dhuhr notification also arrives titled Jumu'ah.

Vaktija 2.0 fixes the Bajram tab on cold start and the inline complication on Apple Watch. • Bajram tab immediately visible during Dhul-Hijjah. During the first 13 days of Dhul-Hijjah the Bajram tab now always appears when you open the app, even offline. Previously, in rare cases, the tab could disappear until the next day or until you manually refreshed. • Apple Watch inline complication fixed. On watch faces with an inline slot (Photos, Solar, Whimsy and similar) the complication now correctly shows the next prayer name and remaining time on a single line.

Vaktija 1.9 lands on Apple Watch, brings 12 shareable Eid greeting cards, and fixes prayer notification reliability. • Vaktija on Apple Watch. The Watch app shows today's five daily prayers and the countdown to the next one. A complication on your watch face displays the next prayer's name and the time remaining curving along the bezel, so you can glance at it without opening the app. The Watch app installs itself when you update the iPhone app. • Shareable Bajram greeting cards. During the days of Eid al-Adha, 10 to 13 Dhul-Hijjah, the Bajram tab opens a collection of 12 cards with Arabic calligraphy. Tap any card, swipe through all of them, and share via iMessage, WhatsApp or any other app. • More reliable prayer notifications. Prayer notifications now break through Focus modes (Work, Sleep, Personal, scheduled Do Not Disturb). Previously they could be silenced when you had an active Focus; now they always come through on time.

Vaktija 1.8 brings two Friday-only cards to the home tab, plus a more reliable fajr alarm. • Fridays on the home tab. A counter for salawat on the Prophet (s.a.w.s.) with a link to the assessment of the hadith on Friday salawat, and a card after asr that reminds you of the time in which du'a is answered. The card opens an explanation with narrations of the Salaf, the hadith of Abdullah ibn Salam, and the choice of the most correct opinion among the 43 listed. The whole content opens inside the app. • Friday by the Islamic day. The cards activate at maghrib on Thursday and run until maghrib on Friday, which is the Islamic day boundary, not midnight on the Gregorian calendar. • More reliable fajr alarm. A second alarm no longer rings in the middle of the recitation and interrupts speech recognition. Once you actively start reciting, the recitation window stays quiet so you can finish. • No more stacked alarms. Fixed a rare case where two or three identical alarms could fire back-to-back if the user kept tapping Wake Me Up without ever reciting the duaa.

Vaktija 1.7 introduces the fajr alarm with recitation, a new way to make sure you always wake up for fajr prayer. • Fajr alarm with recitation. A real system alarm that plays at full volume and overrides silent mode, just like the Clock app alarm. To dismiss it, recite aloud the wake-up duaa from the hadith narrated by Bukhari and Muslim, the alarm switches off automatically once the system recognizes your recitation. If you try to skip it by killing the app, the alarm comes back 10 minutes later. Enable it in Settings → Fajr alarm. • Widget shows fajr until sunrise. Fixed a bug where, right after fajr, the widget jumped straight to dhuhr instead of correctly counting down to sunrise while the fajr window was still active. • Widget no longer shows wrong times. Previously, after midnight, the widget could display hardcoded fallback times (e.g. sunrise 06:58) if the app hadn't been opened. The widget now always uses your actual prayer times. • Real version number in Settings. The "About" section no longer says 1.0.0, it now shows the real version and build number.

Vaktija 1.6 brings a focus on Eid al-Adha and several long-requested improvements. • Lock screen widget. See the next prayer at a glance from your lock screen or StandBy mode, in three formats: circular, rectangular and inline. • Widget self-refreshes. Fixed a bug where the widget could get stuck showing the wrong day when the app hadn't been opened in a while. • Morning and Evening Zikr. Authentic dhikr (Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi and others) with Arabic text, transliteration, translation and source. A banner surfaces during the morning and evening windows, with per-item "read" tracking. • Bajram tab. During the first 13 days of Dhul-Hijjah, a dedicated tab appears with a hadith, daily checklist and Eid greetings. Plus Takbeer at-Tashreeq reminders after fard prayers and a Day-of-Arafah fast reminder. • Midnight theme. A warm gold-and-navy palette. Pick it manually in Settings, or leave it on Auto so it activates during the days of Bajram. Thank you for using Vaktija.

Times now display correctly no matter where you are (Riyadh, Istanbul, New York, Tokyo…). • The home‑screen widget instantly follows the app's language. • New "What's New" sheet: a short summary of changes after every update (always available under Settings → About).

• Redesigned 4×2 widget — cleaner horizontal layout with all five prayers, sunrise highlighted, night times, and a centered countdown to the next prayer. • Countdown now includes Sunrise — after Fajr we count down to Sunrise first, then to Dhuhr.
