nolapse is built on JITAI — just-in-time adaptive interventions. A system that acts at the exact moment an impulse occurs. Not before. Not after.
When you feel the urge to gamble, you open the app and pass through the filter: you hold your finger on the screen for 12 seconds while the screen shows the inputs the engine is reading. The system evaluates the attempt and returns a decision: blocked, delayed, conditioned or unrestricted.
No motivational messages. No streaks, no confetti. A mechanism that interrupts the automatism and logs what it stopped.
