• Bulk Import now works. Before, every import failed. In an inventory, tap ⋯ and then Bulk Import. Pick a CSV file (most spreadsheet apps can save one) and match its columns. The app then shows how many items it created, and the row number and the reason for each row it skipped. Codes keep their leading zeros, and accented letters and decimal commas are read correctly • Create Labels now makes real QR codes that scan. Each QR code holds the item's code. Before, the labels showed a pattern that could not be scanned. QR code labels are not on the Free plan, so on the Free plan Create Labels now shows a lock. In an inventory that someone shared with you, the owner's plan decides. The Choose a Plan screen shows which plans include QR code labels • Photos: if an item already has all the photos its plan includes, tapping Add now tells you before the camera opens. Before, the app dropped the extra photos only after you saved. The Choose a Plan screen now shows how many photos per item each plan includes • The inventory and folder lists now keep their place when you check an item in or out, edit it or delete it. A thin bar at the top shows that the change is in progress. Before, the list was replaced by a spinner and jumped back to the top • In Grid view, the ⋮ menu on an item now has Check Out and Check In, as in List view • If the list changes while an item's ⋮ menu is open, the menu still acts on that item. Before, the action could land on the item next to it • Item Flow report: the From and To dates now use your time zone. Before, they used UTC dates, so some check-ins from late or early in your day could be missing or show under the wrong day • An empty Item Flow report now tells you why it is empty • The Sales section of the Menu tab now says which sales documents are on the web: sales receipts, invoices, payments received, returns and credit notes • Settings no longer shows Switch Account. It did not work: it said it had switched, but you still saw your own data • If you sign in with Apple or another sign-in service, Settings no longer shows a sign-in ID in place of your email address • Barcode scanner: if the camera is blocked on your device, for example by Screen Time, the scanner now shows a message about it. Before, it kept loading • On the Free plan, Settings > Billing & Subscription no longer says "Monthly billing" or shows a billing period

• If you subscribed in the App Store, Settings > Billing & Subscription now shows the App Store price for your plan, in your currency, when the App Store provides it. Before, it could show a different price and a discount. The page also says "Billed through the App Store" and has a "Manage subscription" button that opens your App Store subscriptions • If you subscribed in the App Store, you can now switch between monthly and yearly billing on the Choose a Plan screen. Before, both options showed "Current Plan". Some changes start only when your current billing period ends. If your plan does not change immediately, the app tells you this • After you subscribe, the app now waits for your new plan to appear. If the new plan is not there after a short wait, the app says "Your purchase went through. Your plan will update in a minute." and continues to check. You also see this message if you leave the screen while the app waits. Before, the app could say that the purchase failed, or still show the Free plan, when the purchase was successful • If "Restore Purchases" finds your App Store subscription before your plan has updated, the app now says "We found your subscription" instead of "No active subscription found" • When you add or edit an item, the ± button in the Quantity field opens the Update Quantity screen. There you can now hold + or - to keep counting. The longer you hold, the faster it counts. New buttons change the amount by -10, -5, +5 or +10 with one tap. One tap on + or - still changes it by 1 • The welcome screen now shows the app's name, metItem

• Inventories shared with you now appear under "Shared with me" and in the inventory menu. People you add to an inventory can now use it in the app, not only on the web • What you can do in a shared inventory follows the role you were given. With view-only access you can look but not change anything, and the app says "Your access is view-only". Members can add, edit and move items and folders and check items in and out, but cannot delete them. Admins can do everything except delete the inventory. Roles are set on the web • If you have no inventory of your own yet, the app opens the first inventory shared with you instead of asking you to create one. My Inventories has a button to create your own • If an inventory you have open is deleted or is no longer shared with you, the app tells you and goes back to My Inventories • If your access to a shared inventory changes while you are offline, the changes it no longer allows are not saved, and the app tells you once • New accounts see an optional question in their first week: how they heard about metItem. Your answer goes to us so we can see how people find metItem. You can skip it. After you answer or skip it, it does not come back • If your sign-in must be renewed in the middle of a change, the app now renews it and sends the change again. Before, the change failed with the message "The incoming token has expired" • If a check-out or check-in is refused, for example because there is less stock than the page showed, the reason now shows on the same page instead of an error page • In an inventory shared with you, plan limits come from the owner's plan, and most plan messages there now say so • Better handling of offline changes when more than one person signs in on the same device • Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Apple keeps charging for it until you cancel it. Delete Account in Settings now tells you this before you confirm, with a button that opens your App Store subscriptions • If you delete your account and choose "It's missing something I need", you can now tell us what you were looking for. It's optional, and your account is deleted exactly as before • If a Google or Apple sign-in comes back with an error, the app now says what happened and what you can do, instead of "Something went wrong". A failed "Resend" on the code screen now shows a clear message

• Editing an item no longer puts back an old quantity. If the quantity changed somewhere else after you opened the item (for example a stock count or another device), saving your other changes keeps that quantity, and if you changed the quantity too, the app tells you instead of overwriting it • Working offline: items and folders you add inside a folder or inventory created offline now sync into it, and edits to their names and details made before they synced are kept (an item's tags and custom fields can be set once it has synced). A folder page left open while it syncs keeps working, and an item you move out of a folder before deleting the folder stays where you moved it • The inventory and folder pages now refresh by themselves after you move an item, after a sync, and when you come back from a folder you renamed. Renaming a subfolder from its parent folder's page keeps the parent folder on screen • Times in Activity History, Move Summary and Item Flow, and the dates on pick lists and stock counts, now show in your time zone instead of UTC • Pick lists now work in the app: add items, including items in folders, pick each line (the app shows how many are left), then complete or cancel the list. New pick lists check items out of stock as they are picked; you can turn this off when you create one • If a pick gets no answer, for example when the connection drops, it stays on its line while the app is open, so you can retry or dismiss it • Stock counts: cancel a count, add items that are in folders, and see the stock you are counting against as you type. The page stays put after each count, and an item whose stock another count changed after you counted it is marked "Recount needed" so you can count it again • Creating pick lists and stock counts needs a plan that includes them • Activity History, Move Summary and an item's History tab show people's names instead of user IDs • Add User: a problem such as no free seat on the plan now shows in the dialog, with a link to the plans, instead of an error page. When the person has no metItem account yet and the plan has a seat free, the app confirms that an invitation email was sent. The people you add open the inventory on the web • Item, folder and inventory forms say "Please enter a name" or "Please enter a code" when one is empty or only spaces, and editing an item from the list no longer requires a unit • Error messages under form fields now wrap instead of being cut off, and clear as soon as you correct the value • Quantities read "5" instead of "5.0", the add buttons no longer cover the menu of the last item in a list, and an inventory nobody else is in no longer says "Shared with 1 user(s)" • Tags and custom units: a custom unit is now just a name, as on the web; clearer messages (for example when a name is already used); the tag delete confirmation says the tag comes off everything that has it; the units list no longer empties after an error; the delete confirmation for a custom unit or custom field now closes properly; and an item you are editing still saves after you delete one of its tags

• The sign-in screen now shows "Last used" on the way you last signed in on this device • After a wrong password, sign-in reminds you to use Google or Apple if that's how you signed up • Forgot password: accounts created with Google or Apple have no password to reset, and the screen now says so, with tips if no code arrives • Reports: Inventory and Activity reports come first, and reports that need an upgrade show a lock before you open them • Custom fields: values you enter when you create or edit an item are now saved • Low Stock report: a meter on each item shows its stock against its minimum • Item Flow report: shows who checked items in and out by name • User Activity report: a colored bar splits each person's creates, updates, deletes and moves • Purchase orders, stock counts and pick lists: the Create button is easy to see again, and a purchase order asks once before deleting • Scanner, camera and stability fixes

• Signing up: a mistyped verification code no longer stops you — enter the right code or tap Resend • Signing up with an email that already has an account now tells you what to do, including which button to use if it signs in with Google or Apple • On an item's screen you can now scan a barcode straight into its Code, and tapping a filled-in field selects its text so you can type over it • Fixed an error that could appear on an item's page after coming back to the app • If your sign-in expires while you're using the app, it now takes you back to sign in with a message, instead of showing errors on every screen • Clearer messages after buying or restoring a subscription, and you can try again straight away after cancelling a purchase • Plan buttons now say Subscribe; the store shows the exact price before you pay • Deleting an account that signs in with Google or Apple now finishes cleanly and signs you out • Deleting your account now asks, optionally, why you're leaving. Your answer goes to us to improve metItem — skip it and your account is deleted exactly as before

• Stock counts and pick lists now show that they're part of a paid plan, instead of looking like an empty list • When you reach a limit on your plan, the app now tells you which limit you hit and how to upgrade, instead of doing nothing

• Fixed sign-up problems that could stop you creating an account: a password with an accented capital now says which rule it needs, "Resend code" works after a code expires, and newer domains like .services are accepted • Sign-up errors now say what went wrong instead of "Something went wrong" • The app now tells you when a newer version is available on the App Store • The app now reports its own errors to us, and which screen they happened on, so we can find and fix problems faster — no screen recording, and never your inventory contents
