You are a young chocolatier with one shop and a dream. Source cocoa, perfect recipes, and build an empire across fifteen cities, from Pittsburgh row houses to Tokyo flagships to a townhouse in Paris with a blue door.
Peers is a tycoon simulation with real stories inside it. Every city hides a season: people to meet, choices that stick, and endings that become short films scored with original music. In Paris you help a student director make his movie and decide how it ends. In New York you rebuild a block that can't be bought, only backed. Some stories are never announced anywhere. You find them, or you hear about them from someone who did.
The business runs deep and the clock is honest. Weeks pass, markets move, rivals undercut you, reputations compound. Open shops, run factories, throw the biggest rave ever, sign wholesale deals, take your company public, buy the buildings your empire works in, and spin the globe to book your next flight.

Genuinely Amazing

I have to give my props when they’re due… I was not expecting much from this game on install but let me tell you it exceed expectations 100 times over. Story, Design, Playability, is all at a 11/10. There are a few things here and there that can be fixed or made easier for an everyday player but i have genuinely no other complaints. i thought i was installing just any old regular business tycoon game but i was very wrong. I’m drawn to the characters and the story’s that come with them to a level i didn’t think was possible. I cannot wait for more updates and new cities to come out. Bravo devs!

Peers is built by one person — the stories, the cities, the characters you're drawn to mean a lot to us! Your "few things here and there" line matters as well: if you ever feel like naming those things, leave them in another review or reach out at peersgame.support@gmail.com. More updates and new cities are coming!
Money glitch

I have an issue when I first start the game I’ll buy a few interior design items then attempt to produce some chocolate, go to the next week I only have a few hundred dollars and then can’t buy anything else because according to the game I have no money. I’ll aim to the next week and the amount of money will update to be correct but I still cannot buy anything. This is after choosing the option to start with the bonus $50,000. I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it, but I do hope you can fix this because I really like the idea of the game. Hopefully I explained things in detail

Thank you — this was a real bug and your description helped us pin it down exactly. Producing your first batch silently enabled weekly auto-produce, which kept re-spending your cash every week, and the weekly recap hid that spending. Both are fixed in the v2.0 update coming soon: auto-produce is now opt-in only, the recap shows production costs, and starting cash is doubled. We advise starting with low quality coco and milk first to make your chocolates have higher returns. Feel free to hit the bank to grab some cash but careful of the debt.Until then, opening the Produce sheet and turning off the Auto-Produce toggle stops the drain immediately. Thanks for helping make Peers better!
Some Big Flaws

There’s a great game in here, but there are two things really holding it back. First, your reputation resets back to zero every single week. And since the only way to progress through the game is by reputation, it’s pretty infuriating to play for hours only to realize the game is broken. The second thing is that it’s blatantly obvious all of the scripted parts of the story are written by AI. It’s painful to read and sometimes comes off as nonsensical. For the love of God, get someone to actually write these scripts. Even the most plain spoken, normal person could write better than this.

Thank you for playing, and for the detailed report. An inventory edge case was silently draining reputation every week, which locked up progression. All of the arcs and stories are architected around a theme and logic humans worked on. The stories part of Peers is very important to us as well as the characters we created. So we will be more careful with the actual scripts and the generative language you pointed out in these texts. It should be fixed in the 2.10 update. If you run into anything else, email us at peersgame.support@gmail.com reports like yours make the game better. Love from Peers, and thanks for playing our game.
Peers v3.1.4

- Candidates too senior for your office showed a grey HIRE with no reason. It now says TOO SENIOR and the office cap.
- Hiring messages appeared behind the hiring screen. They show on the screen now.
- Some letters in the inbox opened a blank screen with no way out. Every letter opens, and every letter closes.
