What's New in KeyPad 1.5 NEW — Chinese Pinyin keyboard Type pinyin and pick characters from a new candidate bar — full words like 你好 or character by character. Space commits the top candidate, just like a native IME. Works fully offline, like everything else in KeyPad. NEW — Clipboard history A new clipboard button on the keyboard keeps your recent copies one tap away. Tap any item to paste it, swipe through your last 20 copies, delete items individually, or clear everything. Free for everyone, stored only on your device, never leaves it — and it stays out of password fields. Japanese keyboard improvements Typing "nn" before a vowel now produces ん correctly — konnichiwa comes out as こんにちわ, as it should. Backspace fixes • Fixed an issue where backspace could keep deleting after you lifted your finger. • Backspace now matches the system keyboard exactly: one character per tap, with press-and-hold repeat starting after a brief pause — no more accidental double deletes. Translation reliability • The Translate key now always commits the translation of exactly what you typed — never an outdated result if you tapped it while still typing. • Translation now correctly pauses in web address, email, and phone fields when you move between fields without closing the keyboard. • Changes made from the keyboard (like switching languages) now show up in the app right away. Plus general polish and stability improvements throughout.
