■ Changed the path to chord progression edit mode When a chord progression is selected, pressing “Edit” enters edit mode. The button turns red to indicate edit mode; press it again to exit edit mode. ■ You can now save your own chord progressions Select “New Progression” under “Prog” to create a new chord progression. Presets are not overwritten when edited (saving with the same name will add a number to the filename). You can delete ones you no longer need via “Delete Saved…”. ■ Degree Notations Now Appear Below Chord Names In portrait mode, the frame expands to display degree notations such as I, IVm, and V7/II below the chord names.

■ Pick a song from a list No more stepping through songs one at a time — jump straight to the one you want. Each row shows the BPM, the effect chain that song uses, how many loops are recorded, and the GROOVE genre with the state of the RHYTHM and CHORD lanes, so you can tell what a song is without opening it. Only songs with something in them get coloured badges. ■ Switching songs switches your sound too Each song now remembers the effect chain you last used with it. Pick a song and you are back on the sound you played it with. ■ Pick an effect preset from a list No more stepping through banks four presets at a time. Alongside each name, the effects in that chain are drawn in the same colours as the pedals on screen, so you can read a chain without reading the names. Effects that are off are dimmed. ■ GROOVE backing develops bar by bar RHYTHM and CHORD no longer just repeat. They shift a little from bar to bar and drop in the occasional fill, so the loop stops sounding like a loop and holds up over a long take. How much it develops is up to you, under Variation in Groove Settings: 　Off … plays the selected pattern as-is, every bar 　S　 … almost always the main pattern, with rare changes 　M　 … mostly the main pattern, with occasional changes (default) 　L　 … changes every few bars, with more fills

GROOVE now plays chords along with the drums. • Pick a key and a progression, and a backing that suits the genre starts playing. Improvise or run scales over the changes as if you had a band with you. Five sounds to choose from — Piano, Rhodes, Wurly, Organ and Pad — and you can also tap the chord pads to play the chords yourself. • The drums now accent individual beats, so patterns that used to feel flat have some groove to them. • Your practice log is sent to your other devices as soon as you stop playing. The time you put in on your iPhone is counted on your iPad too.

New Features • AUv3 plug-in support. Insert any AUv3 effect installed on your iPhone or iPad straight into your effect chain. Add one from PLUG-IN in the effect picker, then tap Load AUv3 to choose the plug-in. • The practice tools (tuner, metronome, recorder) now open from the header on all four screens — LOOPER, GROOVE, GRAIN and EFFECTS. Improvements • In the NAM / IR list, the file you are previewing is now highlighted.

New • A practice screen that brings the tuner, metronome, and recorder together. Open it from the tuning fork button on the EFFECTS screen and switch tools with the tabs at the top. The tuner shows the note and how far off you are in cents, with a bar that grows the longer you hold the string in tune. The metronome sets tempo by turning the dial, and lets you pick the time signature, the click sound, and its volume. Recording can be audio only or audio with video. With an audio interface connected it captures what you actually hear — your effects and LOOPER playback included. • Practice Log keeps track of how long you play, on its own. This week's chart sits under the tuner and metronome; tap it for a 1 day (24 hours), 7 day, or 30 day breakdown. Time through an audio interface and time through the built-in mic are counted separately. • Recordings now carry the effect chain you were playing through. From the recordings list you can hear that sound again right away, or load it into any preset you like. Improvements & fixes • After switching presets, the NAM / IR list now shows the model that is switched on, rather than the first one in the chain.

The reason is shown on the setting itself. ・iCloud now syncs your Effect presets only (along with the NAM / IR models they use). 　GROOVE and song tempo are no longer synced, so a rhythm from another device can no longer 　land on top of the loops you recorded on this one. 【Improvements & Fixes】 ・GROOVE step recording (tapping pads while the sequence plays) now lands on the nearest step, 　instead of slipping one step early. ・Trigger recording now starts right at the attack of the sound. ・GROOVE pad recordings are levelled to sit with the bundled sounds, and the silence after the 　sound is trimmed automatically. ・Fixed LOOPER and GROOVE recording nothing when Shimmer was last in the effects chain and 　Input Monitoring was off. ・Fixed presets containing effects added in a newer version being unreadable — and overwritten — 　by an older version. ・EFFECTS now shows a badge and dims the chain while Acoustic Recording Mode is active. ・Shortened the descriptions in CONFIG.

・Added “Multiply” recording to LOOPER — In COUNT mode, you can record loops that are integer multiples (×2/×4) of the master count. This method rounds up on the stop tap and continues recording until the boundary. ・Added waveform display during recording — Real-time waveform display during recording on all recording paths (Count Master, Overdub, and TRIGGER 1). For TRIGGER 1, the entire recorded section is always displayed at full width. ・Added normalized display for Looper recording waveforms — Toggle On/Off in Config (default: On).
