- New: Pin a message — hold any message in a room you host and pin it to the top, so nobody misses it. Tap the banner to jump to the original, and one tap takes it down. - New: Give a new room its own photo while you're creating it, instead of adding it afterwards. - Improved: Move between Rooms, Q&A and audio with a swipe — the tabs follow along. - Improved: A fresh look throughout — from the welcome screen and the tab bar to chat, polls and room info. - Improved: Creating a room is now a step-by-step wizard, so you settle the name, type and who can join one decision at a time. - Improved: Audio call cards show the host's description under the room name, so you know what a call is about before you join. - Fixed: Anyone in a voting room never showed up as online. - Fixed: A room photo with a transparent background no longer arrives on the room card sitting inside a solid square.

- New: Room hosts can remove someone from a room they run — tap their name in the chat, then "Remove from room". - New: Someone you've removed can't rejoin, and the room no longer appears in their list. - New: Hosts can delete any message posted in their room, so unwanted content comes down straight away. - New: Restore access whenever you want — everyone you've removed is listed in the room info screen, one tap to let them back in. - Fixed: If someone joined your audio room while your screen was locked or you were in another app, they now appear in the room as soon as you're back — and you'll hear them.

Rooms, redesigned — colour now means something: green for someone in the room, red for a live call, blue for waiting messages. Everything else is quiet greyscale. New room cards with depth that follows how active a room is. A new flat tab bar matching Android. Lists scroll cleanly to the last item.

A new welcome screen • Meet RoomieVerse before you sign in — Q&A rooms, live audio, polls and DMs drift past on the new welcome screen • Log In and Sign Up open the right form straight away, with Continue as Guest still one tap below • Rooms with people in them now stand out with a green edge, while quiet rooms sit back • Google and guest sign-in sit together as a matched pair under the login form

- New: Audio room notifications — find out when someone starts a public audio room, and tap the notification to go straight into it. - New: Notification settings let you decide what reaches you, with separate switches for room messages, direct messages and audio rooms. - New: Hide Online Status — a privacy setting that stops other members seeing when you're active. - Improved: The Rooms filters are now compact pills instead of two large dropdowns, leaving more of the screen for rooms — the active filter is highlighted, and a tick marks your current choice. - Improved: A green dot and head count on each room card show where people are right now, so you can see at a glance which rooms are busy. - Improved: Private rooms are clearly marked with a lock badge and a tinted card, rather than a small padlock in the corner. - Improved: Finished audio calls move to their own section at the bottom of Rooms, so live and joinable rooms keep the top of the list. - Improved: Your profile now has its own "You" tab showing your avatar, so you can reach it from any screen. - Improved: Avatars sit centred in their circle everywhere they appear, from the People list to your own profile. - Improved: Browsing as a guest now shows everything an account unlocks, with a prompt to create one whenever you tap in. - Improved: Tidier colours and separators throughout the Messages and People lists. - Improved: Roomie now runs on iOS 18 and later, so it works on many more iPhones and iPads — including iPhone XR, XS and SE (2nd generation).

Members are grouped into pins by city, and tapping a pin lists everyone there so you can open a profile or start a chat. - New: Only the city you chose for your profile is ever shown on the map — never your exact position — and members without a city set simply don't appear. - New: The map opens on your own city when you've set one, and online members are marked so you can see who's around right now. - Improved: Rooms, People and Messages now share the same tighter screen header, giving the list more room on screen. - Improved: Search on the People tab is always visible at the top of the list, with a one-tap button to clear it.

Audio Rooms are here • Start a live voice room and talk with your community in real time • Join as a listener and raise your hand when you'd like to speak • Hosts can invite listeners up, move speakers back down, or remove anyone from the call • Everyone joins muted — your mic only opens when you say so • Rooms stay live for up to an hour • Older messages now load as you scroll in rooms and DMs Plus various fixes and improvements.

- New: Location — add your city to your profile and see it as a map on profile cards. Optional, and you can remove it any time. - Refreshed profile design with a map banner and cleaner info cards.

Fixed long room names getting cut off/clipped in the Rooms list — they now truncate cleanly with an ellipsis (...) instead of overflowing.

- New: Create your own chat room, including Expert Q&A rooms for hosting structured Q&A sessions with your audience. - New: Ask the host a question by text or voice in Expert Q&A rooms, with full control over whether it's shared with the rest of room members. - New: Paid rooms — set a one-time fee or subscription price for your room, now with support for more currencies. - New: Q&A hosts can share expertise links, portfolio, and social profiles — and optionally their name and age — right in the room's info.

Voice messages are here. Tap the mic to record, tap again to send. Works in rooms and DMs. *Blocking now works both ways: when you block someone, neither of you will see each other's online status anymore. *Unread DM badge now appears on the Messages tab icon. *Filtering polls by tag. *Report/Abuse contact email changed in profile’s tab.

Bug fixes & improvements · Password reset in-app — you can now complete a password reset directly inside the app when tapping the link from your email, without being redirected to a browser · Email verification feedback — the sign-in screen now shows a confirmation banner when your account has been verified, and an error banner if the link was invalid or expired · Cleaner chat experience — messages from the same person are now visually grouped, with their name shown once at the top of each run, a small avatar, and the timestamp appearing only at the end of the group · Bubble tails — message bubbles now have a directional corner (iMessage style) making conversations easier to follow · DM improvements — direct message conversations got the same grouping and bubble polish as room chats · User profiles — last seen time is now shown on profile sheets, and the Message / Report / Block actions are context-aware (hidden when not applicable) · General stability and performance improvements
