What's New in Version 2.0
A complete redesign of the StringLife experience.
New look
The entire app has been rebuilt with a refined type system and consistent visual style throughout — every screen now feels like it belongs to the same family.
Redesigned home screen
Guitars are now sorted by string urgency, so the ones that need attention most are always at the top. Swipe left on any guitar to delete it instantly.
Log tab
The Log tab now opens directly to the new string job form — no extra taps to get there. The form resets automatically after each confirmed job. Enter your strings in manually or scan the barcode on your string pack to have it auto-fill. One click link will take you to reorder that specific string (currently, through Amazon).
History
A dedicated History tab replaces Alerts, giving you a full chronological record of every string change grouped by month.
Settings overhaul
Settings has been completely redesigned with a cleaner card layout, a visual mode switcher between Personal and Tech modes, and clearer controls for thresholds and notifications.
Bug fixes and stability improvements
Various fixes to notification scheduling, iCloud sync status display, and swipe gesture handling.
