Find What History Forgot
Free · In‑App Purchases
New: hunt tracking keeps recording with your phone in your pocket. LiDAR relief, historic maps and property boundaries for detectorists in 8 countries.
Relic Hunter is the all-in-one companion for metal detecting. Map your ground, log your finds, and track every hunt from a single app built for the detecting community.
SEE THE GROUND OTHERS MISS
Lay historical maps right over your live map and hunt the landscape as it used to be.
- World and regional overlays for the USA, Spain, France, England, Norway, and Denmark
- Custom Overlays (Pro): scan or screenshot any old map — a town plat, a survey sheet, a vintage topo — and pin it to any spot on Earth
- Switch between map styles, add terrain relief, and search any location worldwide
LOG FINDS — FAST OR DETAILED
- Quick mode for the field: big buttons, a high-contrast screen, and voice-to-text so you never miss a moment
- Detailed mode: add multiple photos and let AI help identify your find and estimate its value
- Organize everything into folders and export your finds to PDF, or to a spreadsheet with Pro
TRACK EVERY HUNT
- Start a hunt and Relic Hunter maps your route and distance as you go
- See how long you were out, how many finds you made, and get an AI summary of your day
