New in town, or just a bored local? WanderWhy is a social network built to get you off your phone and into real life, to the people, places and plans already around you.
Be social any way you want:
Mood-waves: signal what you're up for. Explore. Food. Karaoke at an unreasonable hour. Waves are live and expire on their own, so you only ever see what's actually happening. Anyone around you can jump in.
Geotags: tag the spots worth showing and sharing. The map fills up with everyone else's, and suddenly there's always somewhere new to go.
Time Capsules: a story that only exists at one spot on Earth. Photos, a message, a song. No feed, no notification, no way to open it from home. You get it by exploring the world around you. Leave one for someone you choose, or for whoever walks past it next.
Not another app to steal your attention and time. We want you to be social and curious.

Safety and community
WanderWhy is for adults 18 and over. Every profile, chat, geotag, Mood-wave, and Time Capsule is covered by our community guidelines. Report and block tools are available on every profile and every piece of content, and reports are reviewed by our moderation team. You control your visibility and who can reach you at all times.
Getting started:
1) Create your profile: name, username, country, and a bio that says something real.
2) Explore the map and see the geotags, Time Capsules, and Mood-waves around you.
3) Post your own Mood-waves, tag your places, and leave a Time Capsule for later.
