YDS exam coming up? Study smarter. Proven spaced repetition shows you every word at exactly the right moment. 3.000+ words with audio, offline.
YDS Today turns daily vocabulary study into a habit that actually sticks.
Cramming long word lists the night before an exam doesn't work. YDS Today uses spaced repetition — a technique backed by decades of cognitive science
research — to show you each word at exactly the moment you're about to forget it. Study a little every day and remember far more.
HOW IT WORKS
Each session shows you a flashcard with an English word. Tap the card to reveal the definition and an example sentence in context. Audio plays automatically
so you hear the correct pronunciation every time — the word itself, the example sentence, and the definition, one after another.
After revealing the card, rate how well you recalled it:
· Again — forgot it completely
· Hard — recalled with effort
· Good — recalled correctly
· Easy — knew it instantly
Your rating tells the algorithm exactly when to show you that word again. Words you know well come back less often. Words you struggle with return sooner.
Over time, your review sessions shrink while your retention grows.
WHAT'S INSIDE
· 3,362 English vocabulary words
· Definitions and example sentences for every word
· Audio pronunciation for every word, sentence, and definition
· Activity heatmap showing 15 weeks of study history
· Stats: words seen, words mastered, total reviews, this week's count
· Configurable daily new-word limit (default: 20 words/day)
· Due reviews are always shown, regardless of the daily limit
BUILT FOR THE YDS EXAM
The word list is curated for learners preparing for the YDS (Yabancı Dil Sınavı) and similar English proficiency exams. Every word comes with a definition
and a natural example sentence so you learn meaning and usage together, not just isolated translations.
COMPLETELY OFFLINE
Everything — all 3,362 words, all audio files, your entire study history — lives on your device. No account. No subscription. No internet required. No data
leaves your phone.
YOUR PRIVACY
YDS Today does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There are no analytics, no trackers, and no third-party SDKs. Your study history is stored
