WHAT IT DOES Talk — pass the phone back and forth with someone who doesn't share your language. Tap the Spanish mic when they speak, tap the English mic when you reply. Auto-detects direction. Works with earbuds in loud places. Keyboard — silent mode for airplanes and quiet restaurants. Type a phrase, get the translation, show the screen or tap Speak. History — every translation saves locally. Star the ones you want again, copy a translation to the clipboard, have the phone read it aloud, or share a single entry. THE OFFLINE PART IS REAL LinguaLens uses Apple Intelligence — the on-device language model that ships with iOS 26. No model download, no signup, no server, no usage quota. Your words are processed by the AI running on your iPhone, not an Apple or Google server somewhere. iPhone 15 Pro and newer have the hardware Apple Intelligence needs.
