sakīnah - a heart, listening.
When the heart is restless, heavy or grateful, the Qur'an meets you where you are. Name what you feel - anxious, angry, sad, confused, grateful, calm - and Sakinah opens to a verse for that moment. Read it in Arabic. Listen to the recitation. Reflect. Close the app.
No streaks. No badges. No ads. An app you don't need to open every day.
WHAT YOU GET
• Verses for six states of the heart, with Arabic, translation, audio recitation and a short reflection
• Seven Nights: a quiet crossing for a hard season, one verse a night, at your own pace
• Letters to yourself: write on a calm day, and it returns with a verse when a hard feeling comes back
• A small gesture under each verse: thank someone, forgive, give
• Send a verse to someone who is struggling, as a soft card with a few words from you
• Home and Lock Screen widget with a verse for today
• Silent reminders at the hour you choose; the notification is the verse itself
• A private journal and library kept on your device, with backup and restore (optionally encrypted)
• English and French
