Tips and appearance - The tip sheet opens on a painted rooftop at twilight. Each tier now says what it does rather than differing only by a dollar figure, and there is a way out that isn't the Escape key. - In Arabic, Farsi and Urdu the tip sheet lays itself out from the right, so the words and the layout finally read the same way. - The What's New sheet and the welcome guide open on the screen you are working on, instead of one you may not even be looking at. - The countdown and the prayer name hold their contrast over the daylight scenes, not only the dark ones. - Hero Size: three hand-laid sizes for the Home hero, large, medium and compact, chosen under Appearance and previewed live as you pick. Sound - The Salawat reminder and the pre-prayer announcement are heard again. Both had fallen silent after the first day of an install; they now arrive and sound every time. - The Salawat reminder can use a clip of your own — pick any audio file and it plays instead of the bundled voices. - Announcement and Reminder each have a volume slider of their own now, separate from the adhan, and moving any volume reaches the clip that is already playing. Asking and telling - "Have you prayed?" asks in a small window with real buttons, and answers back — a word of gratitude when you mark the prayer, the time still left when you have not. - Every update now opens with what changed, in your language, the first time you launch it. The sky and the day - A real moon: the night scenes draw tonight's true phase, leaning the way it leans from where you are. Tonight's phase sits beside the Hijri date on Home, with a Moon Phase card in the Hijri calendar. - Isha's window closes at the first third of the night rather than at Fajr, and the Day Complete celebration rains confetti. Fixes - Six preferences that saved but did nothing now work: Show Sunnah Prayers, Track Prayers & Streaks, Native Numerals, Animate the Ambient Sky, and both onboarding switches. - The widget and the Siri shortcuts follow your language, clock, numerals and chosen city, and settings synced from another Mac reach the app without a relaunch. - Correcting the Hijri date by a day now moves Ramadan's fasting alerts with it. - Every screen of the popover scrolls instead of cropping, and the menu-bar countdown keeps up. - A tip tier always shows its price, even before the store has answered.

What's new in version 4.0.2: More reliable purchasing. The upgrade screen now waits for the App Store to answer before it shows a price, and retries when the store is slow to respond. If a price still cannot be read, it offers to try again instead of showing one it cannot honour. It also recognises a Mac where in-app purchases have been turned off — through Screen Time or a device restriction — and says so, rather than failing when you tap Buy. And a stray macOS keychain prompt no longer appears when the app is installed over a copy that was signed differently — for example moving from the direct download to the Mac App Store.
