The RoseGarden Home Screen widget now works on iOS 17.6 and newer. Previously it only appeared on the very latest iOS versions.

RoseGarden 1.4.1: safer, clearer, more reliable • Deleting a care log or diary entry now asks first, so no more accidental swipes. • Change a rose's health status any time from Edit Rose Info. • Backups now keep your Show Countdown dates. • Fixed a crash that could happen on the Dashboard right after deleting a care log. • The widget now shows which rose needs attention, or that all are cared for. • Clearer Premium page: the Library, Grow Diary, all care logs, Bloom Show Rating and the Health Guide are free for everyone. • Many small polish fixes throughout.

New: Start a New Rose — track a cutting or seed from day one, with an Establishing badge until she's rooted and her first diary entry logged automatically. Plus: a full Propagation guide in the Rose Health Guide, and you can now correct how a rose started (bare root/potted/cutting/seed) any time from her info.

This update adds Bloom Show Rating — score a bloom against the six real American Rose Society judging categories (Form, Color, Substance, Stem & Foliage, Balance & Proportion, Size), run it through a real disqualification checklist, and get a weighted readiness score and verdict using the same category weighting real judges use. Share a branded Show Card, or export a documentation-style Show Entry Packet bundling your rose's identity and its full logged care history as a dated evidence trail. Rate every bloom, every season, with a full history to browse back through. Also new: a Rose Gardener Basics guide covering pruning, deadheading, watering, feeding, planting, winter care, and suckers; a built-in App Guide explaining every icon and the real end-to-end flow; and a Litres/Gallons choice for watering amounts.

Refreshed the entire Rose Library with real photorealistic photos for every variety — no more generic shared illustrations. New "Modern Rose" category, with real rose classes to choose from: Hybrid Tea, Floribunda, Grandiflora, Polyantha, Miniature, Climbing, Rambler, and Shrub (including English roses). Add Custom Rose now supports taking a photo directly, not just picking from your library. Fixed a bug where some Rose Library data could get stuck out of date after updating the app.

Added real photos with tap-to-zoom across the entire Health Guide — all diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies now show what to actually look for, not just descriptions.
