Romi 2.90: the Romi keyboard is easier to get started with. The Romi keyboard now sits at the top of Settings, with a picture of the buttons above the keys and what each one does. It also explains “Polish”, which rewrites what you typed: polite, casual, or proofread. Fixed on iOS 26: the buttons above the keys looked blurry and were hard to read.

Romi 2.80 is here: log by chatting. A new Talk tab. Text Romi like a friend and your messages become diary entries you can confirm with one tap. Speak with the mic, or send a photo. On devices with Apple Intelligence, Romi also chats back. Meet Mina, your secretary. Ask for today's summary, your week in review, or tomorrow's plans. Free for everyone. The bottom bar is now simpler: Talk, Log and Lists. The village has become Romi's Planet, a cozy game you can open from the Talk tab. Also fixed: iCloud sync between your devices now works.

Meet the Romi keyboard. Log from any app. Type as usual in Messages, Notes or anywhere else, switch to the Romi keyboard, and tap "Log with Romi". What you typed is handed to Romi, and the next time you open the app, Romi sorts it into entries for you to confirm. No need to open your diary just to jot one thing down. On devices with Apple Intelligence, the keyboard can also polish what you wrote: make it polite, make it casual, or proofread it. Pick one of the suggestions, and undo with one tap if you change your mind. The keyboard never connects to the internet. Full Access is only used to pass your note to the Romi app on the same device. Set it up in the app under Settings > Romi Keyboard.

Romi got smarter — and it all happens on your device. Write everything at once. "Had curry, ran 5k, weight 62.3" now becomes three separate entries. Romi sorts them out and shows you the list before anything is saved, so you stay in control. Romi also reacts to what you actually wrote, instead of repeating the same lines. No cloud, no account. Available on devices with Apple Intelligence; everything else works exactly as before.
