TrapSpotter

Speed cameras, police, traffic

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Now worldwide and in ten languages: spoken navigation and alerts for speed cameras, police, accidents and traffic jams on your route, in CarPlay too. TrapSpotter warns you about police checks, speed cameras, accidents, traffic jams, road work and closed roads on the road you are driving, and guides you to your destination with spoken directions. Now worldwide, in ten languages. — ON THE ROAD — • Alerts on your route: police checks and mobile speed checks reported by other drivers, fixed speed cameras, section controls with your average speed, and hazards ahead. Only what lies on your road, not across the whole country. • Speed cameras in more than 100 countries, section controls in more than 20. • Accidents, traffic jams, road work and closed roads, live: from drivers' reports and, in many countries, from official sources. • Report in two taps: police, hazard, traffic or camera, then exactly what you see. The report button sits on the driver's side. • A short tone before each warning, so you know what follows. • Camera warnings even when the app is in the background, and your drive on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. — NAVIGATION — • Spoken turn-by-turn directions in ten languages, clear lanes and roundabouts, and the speed limit on screen, in mph where the signs use it. • Choose from up to 3 routes before you leave. Avoid toll roads for one trip or always. • Traffic lights along your route. • Low-emission zones on your route in nine countries, with the option to go around them. • CarPlay: navigation and alerts on your car's screen, with your phone in your pocket. — ON THE MAP — • Gas stations with each station's price in France, the UK, Spain, Portugal and Denmark, the official maximum price in Belgium and Luxembourg, and the national average in the Netherlands, Germany, Italy and other EU countries. • EV chargers in more than ten countries; parking lots and garages, with their open spaces where they publish them, in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany and Luxembourg. • Ask the assistant about fuel on your route, the rules in another country, or where to go. — THE LAW OF EACH COUNTRY — In France the app follows French law: speed cameras and average-speed sections show there as danger zones, and there is no route around checks. Elsewhere, too, the app follows the law of the place you are in: in Switzerland and Liechtenstein it shows neither police reports nor cameras; in Ukraine, Jalisco, the State of Mexico and Nuevo León, no police reports; and in Turkey, Serbia, Montenegro, Ontario and Prince Edward Island, no speed cameras. — PRIVACY — No social media account needed. Your location is used to show what matters to you, and is never sold. TrapSpotter is no substitute for careful driving: always follow the local traffic rules and speed limits. Questions or feedback? support@trapspotter.com — PREMIUM — • Every police report (a free account sees half of them) • Routes around police checks, where the law allows it • No ads Premium is an auto-renewing subscription: the app shows your price before you buy.
