Version 1.6 — a calmer preview, a much faster editor on big files, and regular expressions in Find. PREVIEW • The preview no longer reloads on every keystroke. It waits for a pause in typing, so a long page stops flickering while you work. • It keeps your place. Editing something halfway down a page no longer throws the preview back to the top — it holds position while the page re-renders, including pages that build themselves with JavaScript. • If the preview ever goes blank because its web process was shut down, it now reloads itself instead of staying empty until you press Reload. EDITOR • Much faster syntax highlighting on large documents. A 1,000-line file took about 120 ms per keystroke and now takes under 10 — the difference between a visible stutter and none. Only the part you can see is re-coloured, while the rest of the document is still read so comments and tags that start off-screen stay correct. • New: Find and Replace does regular expressions. • New: Go to Line. Press cmd+L, pick it from the Edit menu, or click the line and column indicator in the status bar. • New: the status bar shows the line and column of the cursor. • Files that aren't UTF-8 now open from the Open menu, not only by double-clicking them in Finder. UTF-16 and other encodings are recognised rather than refused. RECENT FILES • New: your recent documents are listed in the sidebar, with enough of the folder path to tell two index.html files apart. Right-click to remove one or reveal it in Finder. They're also in File ▸ Open Recent. SCREENSHOT CONVERTER • Long titles now wrap instead of shrinking. A headline that used to be squeezed to 40% of its size to fit on one line is now set at full size across two or three lines. Short titles are unchanged.

Version 1.5.1 — a much faster Screenshot Converter, exports you can cancel, and a long list of fixes. SPEED • Compositions with an image background redraw up to seven times faster. A large photo is no longer decoded at full size every time you move a slider. • The source strip no longer re-reads files as you scroll. Video thumbnails, which were regenerated from the clip each time, now appear instantly after the first. • The live preview reuses the image it has already read instead of decoding it again on every change. • A tiled background built from a very small image no longer pins the CPU. • Replace All on a large document finishes in one step instead of stalling. • The font menu no longer rescans every font installed on your Mac each time the panel redraws. EXPORTS • New: a Cancel button beside the progress bar. Batch exports, split panoramas and App Store bundles can all be stopped, including a video export already under way. • A cancelled export reports how many files it wrote rather than counting the rest as failures, and cleans up the partly written video. • PNG exports with no transparency are around a quarter smaller — the unused alpha channel is no longer written. • A gradient colour that can't be converted now falls back to a flat fill instead of crashing the export. PREVIEW • Video and audio embedded in a previewed page can be scrubbed. The preview answers range requests properly, so seeking works instead of starting the file again. • Renaming a granted project folder in Finder no longer leaves a second, stale entry behind. SCREENSHOT CONVERTER • Choosing a platform with no sizes for the selected media — Apple Watch with App Preview, for example — now explains why, instead of showing an empty Preset menu. • A split panorama that can't be produced says so, instead of leaving a spinner turning under the message. ICONS • macOS icon corners use the continuous curve Apple's own icons use, rather than a plain rounded rectangle. • The App Icon tab no longer rebuilds its preview when unrelated settings change. TRIAL AND PURCHASE • The app no longer opens the full editor and then switches to the purchase screen a moment later while it checks your licence. The trial badge appears straight away too. GENERAL • The app no longer offers itself as an editor for file types it can't usefully open, and no longer claims to be your Mac's owner of Markdown files.

Version 1.5 — the preview now loads your whole folder, plus a long list of fixes. PREVIEW • Fixed: HTML that references images, stylesheets or scripts by relative path now renders correctly. Menus built by JavaScript, external CSS and local images all appear, in the trial and the full version alike. • The first time you open such a file, the app asks once for access to its folder. Pick a parent folder to cover a whole project. Your choice is remembered. • Relative links navigate inside the preview, and Send to Composer snapshots pick up the same assets. • Markdown images render. EDITOR • Fixed: the code was sometimes drawn behind a grey veil, with line numbers jumping to the right edge. The gutter no longer paints over the text. • A brighter syntax theme in light and dark mode. Angle brackets are no longer greyed out. • The last line number is no longer drawn twice. • Switching tabs, including Send to Composer, keeps your open file and unsaved edits. • Quitting with unsaved changes asks first. • Opening a new file resets the undo history. • Faster highlighting on large documents. SCREENSHOT CONVERTER • Rotated iPhone photos export upright, matching their thumbnails. • Batches that mix screenshots and videos export each at its own size. • Titles no longer overlap the screenshot on Mac, Apple TV and other landscape sizes, and long titles shrink to fit. • Device frames render at full output resolution instead of being upscaled. • Added the newest accepted sizes for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. The compliance check no longer accepts rotated sizes for Mac, TV, Watch and Vision Pro. • Failed exports say why. Unsupported files are skipped with a note. APP PREVIEW VIDEOS • Clips longer than 30 seconds are trimmed to 30, and clips outside the 15–30 second rule are flagged before export. • Exported videos match the live preview: fill and stretch modes, rounded corners and glow. • A source with no reported frame rate no longer exports as a slideshow. BUNDLES AND ICONS • The iOS App Store icon exports without an alpha channel, so Xcode uploads no longer fail on it. • Bundle zips keep non-ASCII file names on Windows, suffix duplicate names, and report oversized archives instead of crashing. • macOS icon sets use a distinct file per slot. PURCHASE • The unlock button always shows the live App Store price. Restore Purchases gives feedback, and Ask to Buy shows its status.

Version 1.4 — two new tools, and the app is now free to try. • App Preview video composer: wrap your videos in an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Watch frame with a background, title, and stickers — the video plays inside the device screen. No subscription. Bought the app before 1.4? You're unlocked automatically — nothing to do.

Smarter size checker • Presets are now labeled by what App Store Connect actually accepts today — the verified iPhone 6.5" size (1242 × 2688) is the new default, and legacy sizes carry a clear "may be rejected" warning before you waste an upload. Background image freedom • Zoom the composer's background image from 50% to 300% and move it anywhere with new Move X / Move Y controls — in Fill, Fit, and Tile modes — plus a one-click reset.
