What's New in 2.2.0 INDOOR AND HOCKEY5S Two new pitches beside the outdoor one: the FIH indoor pitch with its side boards and 9 m circle, and the Hockey5s court. Each board remembers its pitch, and the formation list follows it: 2-1-2 and 1-2-2 indoors, 2-2 and 1-2-1 for Hockey5s. 65 DRILLS The drill library has grown from 36 to 65: penalty corner attack and defence, pressing triggers, the counter-press, playing out of a press, aerial passes, overloads, goalkeeping and six indoor drills, each with coaching notes in your language. NOTES ON THE BOARD Write text straight onto the board. A drill's step note sits on the board and changes with each step. Pick a colour or thickness while a line is selected to restyle it. FIELD HOCKEY BLUE The app's backgrounds now take the blue of a hockey pitch instead of the dark teal every sport shared. MADE FOR iPAD A side bar instead of tabs, the drill library and plans beside their details, and panels that open next to their button. A keyboard works (Space plays, the arrows step, Cmd+Z undoes), and Apple Pencil draws while your fingers move players. GERMAN AND DUTCH The app now speaks German and Dutch: every screen, every drill name and every coaching note. That makes 14 languages. SMALLER FIXES Turned sideways, the side bar moves away from the Dynamic Island. Back from a board returns to the practice plan you were running. Many labels that were still in English are now translated.

What's New in 2.0.1 THE BOARD KEEPS TO THE PITCH On iPad, on a Mac and on a phone turned sideways, the players and the ball were placed against the window instead of against the pitch, so the whole move sat off the lines. Everything now stands where the lines say, at any size. TWO BALLS, ONE EACH SIDE A player warming up with two balls has one at either side of him, instead of one in front and one behind. ROOM FOR THE BUTTONS Turned sideways, the menu, the page badge and the zoom buttons sat on the playing surface. The board now starts inside them, and on an iPad the playback and tool bars share one row so the pitch gets the height back. THE PICTURES TURN WITH THE BOARD The board on the home screen and the one on a drill are drawn the same way round as the board you open.

A DRILL LIBRARY — 36 DRILLS Every drill is an animated board carrying its setup, the ball path and the coaching point. Open one, press play, or put it on the board and edit it like your own. Search it, or filter by category, level and squad size. PRACTICE PLANS AND YOUR SQUAD String drills and your own boards into a plan and run it from the touchline, one item at a time, with a record of what you actually ran. Keep your players with their photos and mark attendance per session. THE BOARD IS A CARD The court sits on the sport's own dark ground with rounded corners and a soft shadow, instead of running off the edges of the screen. Players, equipment and the ball cast contact shadows, the playing surface has its own texture, and nets have mesh. CONTROLS REBUILT A clearer bottom bar with the tools in one capsule and playback in another; larger corner buttons that keep clear of the Dynamic Island; zoom and fullscreen moved into the bar. On iPad in landscape the controls sit under the board so the court takes the full width. THE BALL AND THE ROUTES A player with the ball has it ahead of them, on the side they are facing — never behind them, never underfoot. Run, dribble and pass are three different lines, drawn beneath the figures, starting and ending at the feet. And every drill in the library was re-spaced so no two figures overlap at any step.
