Introducing Caps! Earn bottle caps for logging beers, adding to the catalogue, and being part of the BeerLog community. Find your shelf under Stats & caps. We've backdated your previous logs, so there are already caps waiting for you. Caps count beers logged in BeerLog only: imported history does not count, and a beer counts once it has been approved for the catalogue. We're launching with 25 unique caps, with more to come. Also in this release: • Style and ABV labels sit centred in their pills when logging a beer. • Search placeholders no longer wrap and clip at larger text sizes.

• Beer pages now show shops near you where a beer was recently purchased • Explore's This month charts focus on your country, with a worldwide view a tap away • Re-read past release notes anytime in Settings under What's new • A refreshed look: labelled tab bar, iOS 18 tinted app icon • Plus bug fixes and general polish

Invite a friend with a personal link — when they sign up through it, you're connected automatically. Also new: • Share any beer or log as a link. • Get notified when someone else comments on a log you've commented on. Fixes: ABV now always shows to at most one decimal place, and failed friend requests show a clear error instead of doing nothing.

Introducing public profiles and public logs — BeerLog's biggest update yet. • Make your profile or any individual log public to reach beer lovers beyond your friends list. • Discover what people in your country — or around the world — are drinking in the new public feed. • Build your feed your way with independent Me, Friends, and Public filters. Everything stays friends-only until you choose to share. You're always in control — keep any log private, block users, or report content.

What's new in 1.0.5 • Mention a friend by typing @ in a comment or a log's tasting notes. • The activity feed now remembers your Friends / All filter. • Stay signed in for up to 30 days. • Fresh dark espresso app icon. • Fixed a crash when tapping Continue with Google to sign in.

Photo-aware location suggestions, an unsaved-edits warning, a theme choice that sticks across restarts, smarter barcode self-healing, and fixes to the highest-rated leaderboards and a duplicate check-in bug.

• Import your Untappd history right inside the app (Settings → Your data). • Tap your My Stats counts to open your full, searchable check-in history. • Scan or type a barcode while editing a check-in. • New "Banner" share-card style, plus an offline banner. • Fixes: shared cards no longer show white corners in chats; Explore's Top 10 now ranks by how many people rated each beer.

• My Beers and a friend's beers list now have a search-and-filter sheet — by style, brewery, country, ABV, rating, and more. • Each beer card now shows the star-average under the times-logged count. • The Nearby section on the check-in screen now defaults to a 5 km radius (up from 1.5 km). • Fix: A friend's check-in only fires as a push notification — it no longer also appears in the in-app notifications list. • Fix: The Explore Top 10 chart now falls back to the brewery's artwork when a beer has no image.
