You can browse Dutch expressions by topic, including greetings, restaurants, shopping, transportation, hotels, emergencies, time, family, work, school, health, and small talk.
Every word and sentence comes with its meaning in your own language, so you can build your Dutch vocabulary faster, hold on to useful expressions, and pick up natural speaking patterns without extra effort.
Practice speaking Dutch with the AI Coach, a feature built to feel like a real conversation. Type what you want to say in a restaurant, at a hotel, or while asking for directions, and the AI Coach shows you how to say it correctly in Dutch, so you can practice real situations before you actually need them.
Native Dutch audio recordings let you hear accurate pronunciation and train your ear using a listen and repeat method. You can also record your own voice and compare it to the native version, which is a simple way to work on your accent and get ready for real conversations while traveling or living in the Netherlands or Belgium.
On top of that, the app has a few short practice games. Match Dutch words with their meanings, pick the right answer in listening exercises, or pair phrases with their translations. A few minutes a day with these exercises is usually enough to keep new Dutch vocabulary from slipping away.
